This was a nice breakfast/brunch choice. The atmosphere was surprisingly relaxed, the active was good, and I liked the food. My wife got the eggs Barbosa Benedict and I got the chicken and biscuits. What I liked was the waitress also brought us some fruit as well and had a nice demeanor about her. Would highly recommend!

The food is great with matching service. You can tell that the staff and kitchen takes great pride in the food and service. Everyone has a great positive attitude and are very helpful with recommendations. Must try the green chili pork, skillet, chicken nachitos, the barbacoa quesadilla and the specials. Happy hour is Monday-Friday with fantastic deals. Portions are generous. Plenty of parking. Definitely recommend this location!

Stopped in for brunch on our way back home from a weekend trip and was pleasantly surprised by how tasty everything was!!
We started with the barbacoa stackers which were absolutely delicious!! My favorite thing I tried there! We also had barbaco enchiladas which were really a tostada but still pretty good just nit what I had in mind. Ended with the avocado toast which was really good too but unfortunately we were to full to completely enjoy it.
Mimosas were good, a little on the light side but overall it was a very pleasant experience. Would definitely visit again.

We had such a great time at Jack Allen’s! Our server, Katie kept up with our loud, crazy group of ladies like a total pro. Service was super quick, she entertained all our antics, and made the whole experience even more fun. The food was excellent — huge portions, great flavor, and very reasonably priced. The drinks were just as impressive: beautiful and delicious. Definitely one of the most enjoyable dining experiences we’ve had. We’ll be back!

Great!!! Good food. Good people. Good time. I’m a simple guy so Fat Jacks Burger was perfect for me. The Enchiladas were deliciously too much food for my other half. A lot to choose from. Ooh, they’re not stingy pourers either. Go, it’s good

We had the chips and salsa, the killer cheese burger, the mushroom steak enchiladas, and the blue crab ravioli. Everything was really good and served with sides, except the ravioli. The portions were ok for the prices. Expect to pay between $20 to $30 depending on your drinks.

Too much breading on fried chicken with biscuits, more breading than chicken itself. It came with fried potatoes and obviously biscuits, so the plate was 90% bad carbs and only 10% of chicken and lots of black pepper (way too much). Not so many options on the menu to choose from. The trout I asked the waiter about was farm raised. The breakfast sandwich had barely any taste and came with over fried hushbrown. Well, this was my first and last time at this restaurant. For two plates of brunch, apple juice, coke and four barbacoa tiny appetizers we paid $64. Also, it looks like they count on selling alcohol beverages rather than serving good quality food which is also overpriced.

Had a fairly romantic feel, dimmed lights clean tables clean bathrooms A++ for the Atmosphere! Now off to thy foods! Great selections on the menu. Or a little this and a little that. There brunch menu is by far sooo good! Mimosas…EXCELLENT! I got the chicken and biscuits that comes with this green chili gravy (that I was not about to put blindly over my chicken and biscuits) left it on the side wasn’t to my taste and used honey/syrup with some breakfast potatoes… yeah my plate didn’t last long. (Other photos of catfish sticks, chicken fried steak my husbands enjoys everytime he is here, my father tried out there pasta some cajun spiced up thing turned out to be really good while my sister got the mini pancakes and breakfast sandwich. All in all we actually will go back. Always helps to make a reservation Jack Allen’s is no exception!

We are HUGE fans of Jack Allen’s in Round Rock, but every time we have been it’s been beyond FREEZING in the restaurant! Like walk-in cooler level cold! Even coming prepared with a jacket, it was absolutely far too cold to even enjoy our dinner. The food is always amazing, but it’s hard to focus on enjoying yourself when you are so cold you just want to hurry up and leave.

I ordered the tacos with fundido and was a bit disappointed with the flavors. The cheese portion was quite small, and the corn tortillas weren’t good because they were store bought. I ended up eating less than half of my food and didn’t finish a tortilla. Overall, it just wasn’t what I was hoping for.
