If you’re looking for one of the best burgers in Austin, This is the spot! The smash burgers here are perfection—crispy edges, juicy patties, and that secret sauce takes it to the next level. We had the KO burger, and the combination of grilled onions, melty cheese, and pickles on a soft potato roll was absolute heaven.

The vibe is super laid-back, and the service is fast and friendly. It’s the perfect place to grab a bite before hitting Rainey Street. Also, don’t skip the fries—crispy, golden, and the ideal side to an already amazing meal.

The KO Burger is a triple-patty masterpiece that delivers on flavor and satisfaction. Each smash-style patty is perfectly crispy on the edges while staying juicy in the middle, layered with melty American cheese that ties everything together.

Highly recommend if you’re a burger lover or just looking for a solid meal in Austin, Texas

We tried Jabs a few months ago when it was still called Peace, Love, and Burgers, and while the food was fine, it wasn’t anything special. The burger felt small for the price and didn’t really fill me up, but maybe that’s because I split the burger.

I decided to give it another try on Halloween night, and it was so much better this time. I ordered the Sissy Burger ($9) with added lettuce ($0.50) and tomato ($0.50). The burger was delicious, juicy, flavorful, and satisfying. I finished the whole thing and was full for the rest of the night.

After a rough night yesterday I woke up at around 11 am on the couch with a massive headache and just feeling horrible. I honestly wasn’t in the best mood so I started drinking right when I woke up. By about 6 or 7 ish (6-7 clip farming) i was about 12 deep and had only eaten cereal and a rice krispy treat. After a horror show of a night and day filled with reflection and sorrow I decided to grab dinner with my pledge brothers and it was really good eats.

I ordered the classic burger and added jalapeños on top and genuinely ate my burger in less than a minute it was so good. I honestly wished I ordered 3 more to be completely honest. Service was fast and the vibe was chill. Would come again !

Tried JABS today. It’s easily one of the best smash burgers in town. Taste aside what amazed me was the speed at which the food was prepared. Order-to-pickup turnaround was less than 5 minutes, and the burger was perfect. We tried the OG and the classic. Personally, I prefer the OG and bit more than the Classic. The sauce, the patty and seasoning were all so much more flavorful. The seasoned fries were crispy and cooked to perfection. Loved the seating area, it’s a lively place with ample seating available.
The food is halal. Thank you Jabs.

This is a food truck in a craft beer lot on Rainey street. Hussain said his burgers are the best and showed me the award he won for Austin’s best burger. He did not lie or disappoint. The burger has flavors of char from the grill and even though it’s smashed, it’s not super thin. It has some meat and flavor to it. The sauce is really good. I ordered the classic which comes with lettuce and tomato. The fries are ok. They were a let down when the burger is soooooo good. I highly recommend and I’ll say this burger is better than Houston’s trill burger which won Americas best burger…

Tried Pease, Love & Burgers (JABS is another name they go by which is confusing), and overall, it was a great experience! The burger was flavorful, juicy, and cooked just right. The ingredients tasted fresh, and you could tell they put care into making a solid, satisfying burger. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, making for a great side. That said, it was a bit on the salty and greasy side for my taste, which kept it from being a perfect five-star experience. If they toned that down just a little, it would be absolutely top-notch. Still, if you’re craving a hearty, well-made burger, this spot is definitely worth checking out!

They say that they serve smash burgers but they are definitly not thin enough to be actual smash burgers. However, they is not a criticism of the actual taste. The burgers and fries were both great. I was very happy. Can’t rate the atmophere because I was the passenger princess and stayed in the car.

JABS Burgers & Fries, in Austin’s Rainey Street Historic District, is the perfect “spot” for taking care of that late night crave after an evening of shenanigans and adult imbibing. This food truck is still open when many area kitchens are closing up. Forgot to eat? Need more? This is it! They tend to keep it simple here with just a few menu items; not surprisingly, all burgers, along with seasoned fries, and a small selection of soft drinks. I ordered the OG, a double patty smash burger with American cheese, pickles, grilled onions, and JABS sauce on a potato bun. This, along with their seasoned fries, cost me about $14 plus tax. The JABS truck is parked in front of The Stay Put on Rainey Street. There is plenty of outdoor seating here in conjunction with the pub. I waited maybe 7 or 8 minutes for my order to be ready, telling me that, unlike a lot of fast food places, the burgers here are cooked to order, not pre-cooked and stacked to the side waiting. In case you’re curious – I Googled it for you – JABS is a tongue-in-cheek acronym meaning “Just Another Burger Spot”. Very much recommended.
