This place hit the SPOT! I forgot his name but the tall bearded gentleman helped me pick the tan tan ramen which was warm and earthy and exactly what I was looking for. I got it spicy but honestly felt it could’ve used more spice. The chicken katsu it came with was also great. I’ll definitely be back!

Extremely disappointed with our visit to JA Ramen. The portion sizes are laughably small for how overpriced everything is. I’ve never paid so much for so little food. And to make it worse, what we did get came out cold. Not lukewarm, COLD.
The service was equally bad. The cashier looked and acted like he was nursing a serious hangover based on his behavior and him wearing sunglasses, super rude and barely communicative as well. We were rung up for a side of rice, but did not receive it and they claimed we weren’t actually charged, which made absolutely no sense and felt shady.
And it’s not like the place was busy or understaffed either, there were like three people inside this big restaurant.
Overall, the whole experience was frustrating and not worth the money. Cold food, terrible service, and ridiculous prices. Save your time and go literally anywhere else a cup of top ramen would be better at this point. And if I was any more confrontational I would have demanded a refund.

Damnnnn. I got some potstickers and the veggie ramen. Damn good. The potstickers didn’t have that old oil taste. They tasted fresh and so did the ramen. The broth was flavorful and the service was great. I will be back. Thank you.

The food was delicious! curry is not a personal favorite of mine but I absolutely loved the dumpling curry here. I have never seen a curry and dumpling combo before so I am glad I was able to try something new. Got a level 5 spice for the dumpling curry and it was a good level of spice for me. I would definitely recommend and come back next time.

The full Soju selection was a pleasant surprise, and the chili oil on the tables was the perfect finishing touch. We loved our time here and definitely plan to come back.

For our main, we both opted for the Spicy Tonkatsu. The broth was rich and creamy, with just the right amount of heat. The noodles were cooked perfectly al dente, and the pork belly was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The portions were generous.
While Ja Ramen might be slightly on the expensive side for lunch, the quality of the ingredients and the friendly service made it well worth the price. Bring your appetite!
