Ja Patty (RI) never misses. This bowl was packed — tender, flavorful jerk chicken, cheesy mac, and sweet plantains with that sauce on top And the rum punch? Dangerous in the best way… fruity, strong, and so good I’d order it again immediately. 10/10. Can’t wait to go back!

Food was quick, tasty, and full of flavor! This spot has such a cool vibe—loved the stunning mural artwork on the walls. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. My husband had the oxtail, my son got the jerk chicken rice bowl, and I had both the beef and chicken patties—everything was delicious. They also have fun Jamaican sodas that were a hit. We’ll definitely be back!

Awesome meal and super quick since everything is set up on steam tables. Allison is very sweet and gives great service. We tried the jerk chicken bowl, the ackee and salt fish patty and the beef patty along with all the sauces. Highly recommend!

Our first trip here, and we will be back! I had the jerk chicken bowl, and my son had the oxtail bowl + both were delicious. We also got some beef patties to go. This place has a great vibe, and the owners are very welcoming.

Located on the West Side of Providence, I stopped by Ja Patty today. I enjoyed the jerk chicken (not shown) and curry vegetable patties. They were flavorful and filling. I look forward to cooking the frozen patties another day. So glad to make it on their Grand Opening! Best of Luck!

I have been searching for a local restaurant where I can get decent oxtails. Unfortunately I hadn’t had any luck – that is until I found JA Patty! I found them randomly online and the majority of reviews were positive so I decided to give them a try.
They did not disappoint! My first visit was 10/4 and I got the oxtail bowl. Delicious! Meat was falling off the bone, plantains were yummy and the slaw was such a nice addition – it gave a nice texture contrast.
I have since been back two more times. I tried the jerk chicken bowl and beef patty the second time – another win. Food is just fresh and flavorful. And the portions are just right for the price.
I also had the pleasure of meeting Alison on my 2nd visit and she was super friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is nice and chill too if you prefer to eat in.

I got a veggie and beef from their food truck but the veggie had practically no filling. Beef was decently filled and both tasted good

Stopped by the food truck while leaving Moniker Friday night. The food is incredible and probably one of the fastest turn around times for a food truck. I would definitely recommend, the combo is a great deal for a quick bite.
