Jmars used to be a family favorite. I went there as a kid and it’s always been very good. I haven’t been there in over a year. I went today and got burgers for the family. They were very sad and disappointing. The burgers were almost paper thin and they were very expensive. The fries were very dry and chewy. The ranch tasted like it had a bunch of garlic in it. This place has really gone downhill. The only thing positive I can say about it is the service was still good. The staff was friendly.

We ordered the pressure cooked chicken dinner and a side salad. Both were generous portions! The chicken was tender and juicy. The salad included tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, onions, cheese, and bits of bacon. We would definitely go back!

My mother and I went to Ja-Mar’s this afternoon hadn’t been there in about 2 years. It was not the same it was awful I had the chicken and 2 sides of potato salad and beans. Potato salad tasted like vinegar and the beans tasted like nothing but hickory. My mother had the hot beef and the gravy had no flavor and very over priced $15 a person. very disappointed.

Food is pretty good, been going since i was a young buck so my rating could be more personal. Has plenty of seating and if looking for a quiet atmosphere this is the place to go. During the summer can be pretty busy though because they host events or events will be hosted around them. Overall cant beat a better burger or fried chicken in the area in my opinion.
