Every slice is perfectly baked with the most delicious crust, rich sauce, and fresh toppings, true pizza perfection. Not only is the pizza top-notch, but the variety of other foods here is unmatched. I love that I can get amazing sushi and other quality menu items all in one place. Great for the entire family.
The service is always awesome. friendly, fast & genuinely personable. The team behind the counter makes you feel like family. Whether I’m craving classic pizza, calzone, pasta or looking to try something new, this spot delivers every time. Highly recommend!
It did help that I was hanging out with some of the coolest people in the world @yg & yg123
The place is shockingly dirty, the service is horrible, and most of the staff don’t even speak basic English, which made communication nearly impossible. I waited over an hour for a pizza, and when it finally came out of the oven, the employee picked it up with a tool that had just fallen on the floor. When I complained, they told me “the floor is clean” – the most ridiculous excuse I’ve ever heard. There’s no justification for serving food that came in contact with something that touched the floor. Disgusting. Think twice before eating here.
Filthy beyond belief, smells terrible, and the staff can’t speak a word of English. Trying to communicate felt like landing in a foreign bus station by mistake. If you enjoy wasting your time and losing your appetite, this is the perfect spot. Otherwise? Run the hell away.
I greet it by walking into J2 Pizza North like a bochur reporting for seder.
Because waiting behind the counter, running the place with the confidence of a seasoned mashgiach and the calm authority of a man who’s seen a thousand Motza’ei Shabbos rushes, is none other than Reb Ephraim — whom I affectionately call “The Rosh Yeshiva.”
And honestly? He deserves the title.
Mi’kamcha Yisrael — who else oversees a weekly influx of hungry Yidden fresh out of Shabbos like a spiritual general returning his troops to civilization?
Every week, without fail, I show up for my Melava Malkah like it’s my own personal minhag from Har Sinai. And Reb Ephraim — The Rosh Yeshiva — gives me the trademark nod, the kind only a true talmid chacham of the pizza world can give. At this point, if I didn’t show up one week, I’m convinced he’d start making phone calls.
The vibe inside is peak Motza’ei Shabbos:
People in Shabbos shoes, kids half-asleep, parents pretending they’ll “just get a slice,” and me confidently ordering my usual like I’m making a neder. The warmth, the energy, the smell of fresh dough — it’s the perfect bridge from kedusha to chol.
And the pizza?
Always on point. Always consistent. Always the right way to send off Shabbos.
It’s the kind of slice that reminds you Hashem loves us and wants us to be happy.
Between the smooth operation under The Rosh Yeshiva’s leadership and the reliably delicious slices, J2 North has become not just a restaurant, not just a habit — but my official Melava Malkah makom kavua.
Highly recommended. And if you go, tell Reb Ephraim the Rosh Yeshiva that one of his devoted “talmidim” sent you.
