I am a huge supporter of minority owned business. It would take something as extreme as what I’m about to write for me to write a negative review on ANY business—but especially a minority owned one. Am I biased? Yes. I love supporting minorities.
I ordered this food through Grubhub…catfish Nugget dinner, small rib tips, pinto beans. The moment I bit into the catfish I could taste that it was rotten. Yes. ROTTEN! I love fish and can eat it everyday and I cook it at least 3x a week and buy it out at least once a week. I know this sounds funny but I could smell it before I ate it but I was sitting close to a restroom in a small room and I had just got done using the restroom so I just thought it was the toilet. I swear. Even though that part may be funny—there is absolutely nothing like the taste of rotten fish in your mouth. I never tasted it before and pay I never do again. Highly dissatisfied. The restaurant offered more food, something different or the same—and even a rain check. I politely declined all of that. I just can’t ever eat there again. The manager did respond at first with this: “They been eating it all day. They eat it everyday. They ain’t had no problems with it.” Honey, I don’t give a damned what they been eating. It taste like ass—just like shit… And if that’s what they eat—so be it. I’ll never eat it again. I was even trying to put you on blast. I didn’t have to call you. I could just call grubhub and get a refund. I called YOU so you could throw the damned fish out and not serve it to anyone else. If her first response was…I’m sorry, I will look at that immediately…I’ll throw out the fish…ANYTHING similar to that…I wouldn’t have posted this. But apparently they been eating it all day so…we are going to keep serving it. It’s been 20 minutes and that damned taste is still in the back of my throat. Damned! And yes…as you can see I had to spit this out immediately. Lord…almost fkn died.

The forty-five minute drive was worth what I just experienced. I cannot express enough, my feelings of appreciation for this delicious, affordable, undiscovered gem of a restaurant. The potato salad, let’s start there. For years, I haven’t tasted anything that compares to the authentic Amish style potato salad, served throughout northeast Ohio. Today was my lucky day. Not sure what the secret ingredients are, but the creamy, consistent flavors, combined with added bits of peppers and the perfectly textured potatoes resulted in the best potato salad I ever had! Add to that a bountiful serving of saucy, tender rib tips and yams so good, you’d think it was Thanksgiving. I can’t wait to try the peach cobbler next time.

Just had the PEACH COBBLER for the first time, along with my usual fish, or turkey tips. FISH was good as usual. The PEACH COBBLER was very good! I ate it room temperature as it arrived by delivery. But if you have it delivered, I suggest you heat it and add a scoop of ice cream. It was that good!

Decent food, Great price, and easy to get in and out. I will definitely return. The fish was an abundance of fried yumminess!- especially for the price! The people aren’t rude but not the most happiest. No smile when I walked up and took my order in a matter of fact way but again not rude. Food and price is worth stopping by!

You can drive right by this little food truck and miss it completely so slow down and stop. They have the best fried fish. It is has a nice light cornmeal crust and is fried fresh to order as are the fries. The ribs are tasty and meaty. I prefer the hot barbeque sauce, it has a nice kick but not supper hot. The steak burger is a great buy as well. It is a large patty, grilled and dipped in sauce if you want it that way. A great value and very filling.
They are open Wednesday through Saturday. The parking lot is small but spots close on the street are usually available.

been eating there since it opened as a grill on the corner-decades-took my son wife to the new sit down version.walked in -dead quiet nothing-we stood there suddenly a black lady walked in-oh darlin how are you? lets us seat you-how have you been? she said but they were there 1st-oh forget about them let us get you seated.-over 40 yrs of supporting you getting great friendly service-oh your homemade sauce was to die for.and treated like that? my wife is 81 not a fan of bbq but loves yours-never again.i pray you fail

This is a trailer on the corner. I walked up and ordered whiting dinner. The portion was generous, piping hot, made to order. With it came fries. The service was good and the staff friendly. If you want something to go but far better than your typical fast food restaurant this is the place.
