Great place I found to meet between Austin and Katy with my children. We had a brisket sandwich, a meat plate that sampled brisket sausage and ribs, and I had a loaded baked potato which was delicious. Smoke meats had a great flavor, moist, and all of the sides were also very good. We look forward to being back. Owners and staff were all very friendly and kind. They have a great drive-thru, it reminded me of the old Beverage Barn in Houston.

I ordered a two-meat plate, sliced brisket and ribs. The brisket was tender, juicy and literally fell apart when the fork touched it. Very good. However, so disappointed in the ribs! The meat was tough as shoe leather and not juicy at all. I almost wondered if they were even fully cooked. I could have been there too early, or a bad day for ribs. Therefore, I will try again, but will want to see the ribs before I actually order them.

Our new favorite barbecue!! Between three orders, we tried the chopped brisket, ribs, chicken, sausage and pulled pork. All were delicious!! Joe and Reuben, the owner and pit master, were welcoming and helpful. Thanks for a great experience!

First of all, the BBQ is PHENOMENAL, the ribs are fall off the bone, juicy, and full of incredible flavor. The brisket, is very tender, and very flavorful. Portion size is perfect. The potato salad is the best I’ve ever had, and the pinto beans are great. Make sure to get the home brewed sweet tea, thank me later. Now on to the smaller details.

My family of 15 walked in at noon on a Saturday, and were treated to an amazing meal with incredible hospitality. Joe and Ruben had a ridiculous task on their hands, but pulled it off like pros. We had Joe do catering for 50 people for our family reunion. Everything was perfect. Joe delivered the catering himself. No complaints from anyone! It is the best bar b que around! We had some of ever on the menu. Highly highly highly recommend!!!

J.W. catered to our Team as our team was participating in the TX MS150. This was a last minute order and J.W. came through clutch, most places said no due to how small of a window it was but they surely said yes. They dropped the food off at the time they said it would show up. Now on to the food. We had brisket, chicken, sausage, ribs with all the fixings. The food all tasted really good. Brisket and chicken were flavorful and juicy. The only thing that I can knit pick was that the ribs came out a little tough to my liking but the flavor was still there, not to mention last minute order so im not going to deduct a star from that. Every single side they have to offer was very good no complaints whatsoever. For dessert we had the cobbler which was fresh out of the oven, Joe went back to pick it up to deliver it fresh and even brought vanilla ice cream (which we did not order) to eat it with the cobbler. It was so good. If im in the area again or for next years ride I’ll definitely order from them again. Thank you so much J.W. Arnold’s team!!!

Stopped in for a brisket plate and veggies, and I asked for moist and more bark. They actually trimmed the bark off and gave me meat with no smoke ring…. What the hell? The sides were adequate, nothing crazy good like you’d expect. Cole slaw taste like it comes in a bin. The BBQ sauce is by far the worst thing…. It’s sub par to say the least
