We went J. Vito’s for Wednesday night music with the Danny Sinnoff trio. He always sounds great! The food was very good the atmosphere was a lounge vibe. All tables could easily see the stage. I had the half chicken my hubby had surf and turf , the food was hot when it arrived at the table.Chicken was good moist I also liked the lemon asparagus my husband thought the steak was cooked well and tasted very good. Maybe leave tinfoil off the potato tho. They have a good drink menu with some cute names and a decent wine list. We had chocolate cake for dessert and it was oh so chocolatey . Not sure who the man was that came around to the tables to see how we were doing but he makes the place very enjoyable he was happy and really cared about how we felt about our experience, wish our waitress would have seemed that happy. We will be back to see Danny and try different things on the menu . Parking is not a problem. I would recommend reservations. Enjoy the ambiance. There is an automatic tip and fee for the band which we were fine with paying.

It’s a shame! This place has great atmosphere, good service, and live music, but only a few in the restaurant because the prices are outrageous! The musician was very talented, playing the flute, sax, and guitar. Our bill was $200.00 for two. See the photo. I ordered shrimp cocktail and the four they served me for $24. were a bit waterlogged. The kicker was that I wanted extra horseradish because I like my cocktail sauce spicy, and they brought me some horseradish sauce and charged me $10! I did complain and they removed the charge. My husband ordered the veal ala Basile ($49.) and said it was just okay-thin slices that were very saturated in the sauce. The spinach was good, but another side would be another $10. The pear fiocci (sic) was delicious (our friends ordered it along with a chicken salad flatbread, another flatbread, and three glasses of wine and their bill was $150.) They agreed that it was overpriced for what they got) Everything is an extra charge. Bread is $6. They add $5.pp for the music, which is fine, and automatically add a 20% tip to the bill, which is what we usually tip anyway. I would recommend this place for a drink, music and an appetizer, but not more.

My husband and I went to J. Vito’s in Estero, and I honestly don’t know how this place isn’t packed every night because it is something special.
From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere pulls you in. It’s welcoming, intimate, and full of character. With the live music, it’s almost like discovering a hidden speakeasy tucked away that you instantly want to keep coming back to.
The food was incredible, clearly made with care and passion, and the people there made the experience even better. You can tell this is a place where hospitality still matters. Nothing felt rushed or generic. Everything felt genuine.
Places like this are rare, and they deserve to be known. If you’re looking for great food, great music, and a place that feels special instead of crowded and impersonal, do yourself a favor and go to J. Vito’s. We’ll absolutely be back and bringing friends next time.

I was very excited about having dinner there. A local friend raved about the jazz trio playing there. As you walk in it had a great vibe….the stage softly lit black curtains
You open the menu and the prices were surprising. I live in Boston and they were expensive even for Boston. Appetizers 19+. Entrees 32-69 I was still willing to give the place a chance.
For those prices you expect a high quality of food presentation and service J Vito’s never delivered. A $6 bread basket contained 4 rolls and we had to request butter. My wife’s $18 spinach salad which she added chicken (for $12) was not prepared together. She had to destem the spinach cut up and add the chicken which was served on a side plate and add her own dressing. For that price it should have been fully prepared and presented. My $22 Nashville sliders were not spicy and included nothing else other than a big dish of ketchup. We ordered San pellegrino and had to twice request ice The large bottle was left opened rather than leaving the cap so it could remain sparkling. It took the waiter two tries to get the bill right.
The music was incredible some of the best jazz I’ve heard which was the highlight of our evening . It was also great to catch up with some dear friends. Too bad the food and service were disappointing.

We went with a group to the Fleetwood Mac tribute event last night. It was our first, and maybe last time dining there. We had great expectations after reading the favorable reviews, and were excited for our dinner/music experience. First negative – it took the server 45 minutes to deliver our cocktails. That was after we had to go to the hostess station 15 minutes into our seating to hunt down a server. There was only 1 bartender working in a full restaurant. Alex, who poured our water, was the saving grace and the only one making an effort to resolve the terrible service. He should be promoted. The caesar salad that was on the fixed menu tasted as if it came straight from the freezer. My sole dish was tasty, however, we found everything overpriced. The servers, although pleasant, were lacking in numbers and attentiveness. The concept is great, we enjoyed the music and the atmosphere was nice. However, they need to greatly improve on the number of servers, bartenders and food quality for these events. Maybe the overall experience and food would be better on a non-music evening?

This is a new Super Club that is still working out the kinks. That is not a bad thing. Micheal and his staff are very accommodating and eager to please. The food was excellent, but the place itself is special. It feels like a NYC Jazz Club. We went on a Wednesday to see the incredible Danny Sinoff jazz trio. The sound, the lighting and the atmosphere was excellent. Since the Roadhouse closed down this is the closest place to see Danny and the trio – in fact the owners of the Roadhouse were there the night we went – that should tell you a lot. Do yourself a favour and check this place out – for dinner or just for drinks at the generous bar area.

Upon walking in, we were sure we found a gem. The atmosphere was amazing and I was excited to tell all of my friends about it.
Ultimately the food ended up disappointing us. The prices are quite high, but we knew that in advance and were okay with it, but expected decent food as a result.
Two in our party got the veal alla basile and wanted to send it back after the first bite. The cutlets were drowning in melted butter, and they were put off. I tried it, and agreed it was too oily, but the flavor wasn’t helping either – seemed to be lacking any meaningful seasoning.
My sirloin was probably the best thing we had. It was cooked perfectly and a nice cut of meat. However, it seemed to have no or very little salt at all. I had to ask for salt and pepper which I never do at a restaurant.
After sending back the veal the other two ordered filet mingnons. Similarly to the sirloin they were cooked to the right temp they ordered, but had no or very little salt/seasoning. The texture was also quite off for a Filet Mignon.
The steaks seemed like they were either cooked sous vide or in an oven on a low temp to have them ready, and then very quickly put on a grill for grill marks. Somewhere along the way the texture got messed up, and due to the low grill marks, neither 3 of the steaks had any nice crust to them.
All three of the meals had very low effort sides with them (unseasoned baked potato and unseasoned steamed vegetables).
I understand at a supper club they need a menu that is easy to whip out quickly – that’s perfectly fine and to be expected. But with prices that high, everyone is expecting great food, and it was frankly pretty bad/low effort. The club being empty on a Friday night seemed to be a reflection that our experience was not an abnormal one.
I hope to come back and find it improved because it has the potential of a true gem.

Went to watch Bob Lauver hypnotist for comedy night. Seated at table, given menus, ordered 2 drinks. Neither drink came with the fruit ordered in it. Never came back to ask if we wanted to order food. Had to grab other server to order a refill on drinks. I have worked in food service and the last one to complain. When manager approached, the excuse was some people don’t order food. I guess that’s a good reason why we did not eat. I think the worst service I ever had.

Atmosphere and music was lovely. We can for Valentine’s Day at 5:30. Arrived and place was empty. Food was cold. Ordered an assorted bread basket that never came. Kept being told it was coming and very sought after. Entrees were cold. Service was abysmal. Had to complain and still waited for the check.

Just made our first visit to J. Vito’s. Great food, great drinks, great music and fantastic atmosphere. By the time we left – we felt like family. The main front of house guy Mike stopped by our table multiple times. Everything about the experience was awesome.
