We were so hungry and excited to stop in on our way through town. First warning should have been that the smells coming from the back by the kitchen was cigarette smoke— not BBQ. Second was that the buffet was heat lamped and where the sides were served from. In the end – the sides were cold when served and the meat so tough and chewy, you couldn’t swallow it w/o drowning in BBQ sauce. All in all there was nothing remotely smokehouse or BBQ about this place. So unfortunate too, as the staff was super friendly and fast.

Great place for a meat and three during the week! Wide selection of vegetables with, usually, 3 or more meat options. If you don’t feel like having a lunch plate or visit J&V for dinner, there are still many great options! My favorite thing to have is their loaded baked potato with smoked chicken! Make sure you try their white barbecue sauce with it- super delicious!

Update: They have opened a new restaurant in Red Bay Alabama where Oh Bryan’s was!! Their open Wednesday thru Saturday from 11am. to 8pm. One of my favorite places to eat in Hamilton Alabama and I expect the food will be awesome there too but I’ll let you know. Always enjoy their food and the service is great and the people are friendly. They have lunch specials everyday that are delicious and not too hard on your pocketbook. They also do catering, they cater meals for our Masonic lodge and we are ALWAYS HAPPY with the food, we usually do chicken fingers and baked beans, slaw, potato salad and rolls and sometimes barbeque with same sides. The food is always hot and delicious when we pick it up!! The catering is priced right too! They also have a large separate dining room for parties and meetings! I really love their hamburgers which you can get as a regular or large or a double large, but if you get the double burger I suggest you ask them to cut it in half for you cuz it’s hard to get you hands around and eat it without losing your tomatoes and onions and stuff. LOL all-around great food and people!

Nice hometown restaurant with good food and friendly service. Pick from the buffet items daily for lunch or order off the menu. Unfortunately smells like cigarette smoke when you walk in. Fish Fridays are always great!

I’ve been going to this Restaurant for a while!! The people are nice!! The last time I called in a order I went to get it and the Owner let me just stand there while she was adding up a bill!! And my Order was ready and sitting there getting cold!! She just kept on doing what she was doing and I had to wait till she was done!! I don’t call that good business!!

Do not get the steak it was all fat and gristle, worse steak I ever had, ordered salad bar and they don’t let you go for 2nds!!! The fish was decent but definitely not worth what I spent!
