This restaurant is disgusting. My brother worked there and he told me they dropped raw chicken and fish on the ground and they still used it. And when he told them that makes people sick they fired him. They also reuse the food off peoples plate they don’t eat. It’s pictures of the literal dirt still on the chicken.

Great food, diverse menu, and friendly owners! I eat here as often as possible because Clinton needs more delicious food like this.
I have tried (and loved) several items on the menu, and I appreciate the owners’ care to meet dietary needs. I ordered a dish with tofu instead of meat and they took the time to make a fresh vegan egg roll to match. Food made with love. Highly recommend!

I had a great bulgogi vermicelli bowl. I would get it again. My dad tried pho for the first time & the owner (?) was very helpful in cutting up the meat smaller so he could eat easier. Had good suggestions from the menu & a lot of different options – the price range is about what I would pay at other restaurants for these portion sizes. Great veggies in my bowl too.
A star gets knocked off for the service – the boy who was working at the front when we came in, we didn’t even know he was talking to us to get us seated. Had a sullen attitude & it felt like he didn’t want to be there. I attribute it to growing pains of a new place, but with better servers & someone behind the counter to greet people, it would make a real difference. The food is worth it, at least what we had, so I’ll be going back.

Enjoying homemade Pho has become a tradition for my girls & I. We decided to try this location while my daughter was in town visiting. Everything was very fresh, the seasoning wasn’t too strong, just the right amount of flavors, not too much ginger & just a hint of cinnamon. I could’ve easily had seconds!!! Delicious… hopefully they’ll open another location closer to Flowood/Madison.

This place is fun! I’m so glad they came to Clinton – it’s unlike any other restaurant here. I had pho, and my husband had ramen. Both were delicious. I’ve never tried either, but my husband has and said it tasted authentic. We also had the musubi, or spam sushi, because why not?! Also delicious. Our waitress was super helpful to answer questions and make suggestions. Not just for us, I heard her explaining menu items at several tables. She was very patient with everyone. I can’t wait to go back and try more!

Last night we tried out the new J&R Seafood restaurant in Clinton. It was fantastic! We had the Vietnamese Pho beef noodles, the Tonkotsu Japanese Ramen, and the Grilled Marinated Pork & Fried Eggroll. All three were terrific. The Mochi Waffles Cake looked delicious, but we saved that for next time. If you haven’t tried this place, I recommend that you do so ASAP. Plus, the owners were outstanding hosts. Don’t miss a chance to get acquainted with some of your Vietnamese neighbors in Clinton!

Went for dinner here and it was amazing!! Very authentic. Food was very fresh and flavorful but light! Staff was VERY friendly and welcoming. They explained everything to us and answered any questions we had. We definitely will go back and cannot wait to try everything on the menu.

My ramen was chicken broth and noodles, hardly any toppings. It tasted like Campbell’s chicken noodle soup. I would be embarrassed to call it tonkostsu ramen like they did. The unsweet tea I ordered tasted like water and didn’t have much color leading me to believe it was very watered down. I never got a refill. It took them 15 minutes after I was seated for them to take our orders, and it took forever to get our check handled at the end. Service was slow and inattentive. At least their dumplings were average. For that they earn the one star I’m giving them. Otherwise, it’s expensive, slow, and gross. Pass on this one.
