Band was great (TORCH) friends were awesome get together! Sampled pizza steak tips fries pretty delicious for bar food definitely would recommend! Place to go and feel welcome friendly staff.

Local dive bar so there’s not a lot to be expected LOL live music is great but there’s nowhere to dance too crowded in the band area. They actually put tables on the Dance Floor. Bartenders seem to be more concerned with serving the regulars. So service is slow.

My 23 yr old daughter and her friends were denied service because 2 of them had out of state (yet still valid) IDs. My daughter and her boyfriend are MA residents yet were given a hard time because their college friends were not from here. I understand being careful but this is ridiculous.

What a great joint!!! Our (Waylon Jennings tribute) band played a birthday party there for an 88 year-old regular whose nickname is “Red”. The Indian Head Pub was packed with regulars on a Sunday afternoon and they were just fantastic. Kinda like “Cheers”, but noisier (because of us).
Gary (the owner) was really friendly & helpful, providing great food for the birthday party, and good advice re: song selections and sound levels.

I just ordered the best ribs I’ve ever had. They melted in your mouth and marinade was amazing. I have had barbecue down south : GA; TN; AZ… absolutely none even hold a candle to this. If you don’t believe me… please try it out… and btw Tracy Denise and Sharon are awesome too!

We ended up here for lunch on a Saturday after picking up some used furniture from a home close by we saw in Craig’s list.
I wish we had chosen another place. The bartender was very nice but she had her hands full with a very full bar of which all seemed to want to play KENO.
We were wondering why it was taking forever for our food. She was running all around trying to keep everyone happy and in the meantime our meal had been brought out of the kitchen and sat at a side bar for a while so my pizza wasn’t hot nor was my hubby’s burger. Ugh we both hate cold food.. that did us in.. she definitely needed another hand.
I am never in Hanson so I know I won’t go back but even if I lived closer I would probably try another restaurant.

I live in nj and this is my favorite bar for three reasons… 1- best bartenders who are fast, friendly, personable and great at their job. 2 -the food is awesome. Had cheeseburger sliders with chili today, and it was the best chili I ever had. 3- touchtunes jukebox is always loud and turned on. Kudos to owners, servers and cooks!!!
