I went here for the first time yesterday, and I loved the atmosphere! The music was top-tier, the cashier was nice, and the pictures/posters on the walls were both informative and great at aquainting newcomers like me with the restaurant and its history. I ordered the lemon pepper/teriyaki wings (10 pc) with fries, and the wings were absolutely delicious. I never even knew that teriyaki and lemon pepper could go together, but J.R. Crickets taught me that they definitely do! The only unfortunate thing was that my fries were a little dry/slightly hard when I got home and ate them, but I’m wanting to chalk that up to taking to taking too long to eat them. The good news was that they were still flavorful thanks to the season salt that the cashier offered me to sprinkle on them and the super tasty bleu cheese dip that also went well with the wings. Overall a nice experience, and I’ll be back!

Got a big box of wings & fries on our walk back from the Masquerade to eat in our room at the Candler.
It wasn’t a bad experience. We got the signature flavor of Atlanta, lemon pepper wet. The wings were a bit anemic. The sauce was a bit too salty. That said none of it was by any means bad and the price wasn’t too unreasonable, especially for downtown Atlanta.
The place was packed, and while we certainly waited for a hot minute, it wasn’t too ridiculous. The food was fresh, still plenty hot by the time we got back to the room. I wouldn’t rule out stopping here again.

Really only came here because of the show Atlanta. I got the 10 piece Lemony Pepper Wet wings with fries. They did not skim out on the lemon pepper seasoning. It was decent but I didn’t finish all of it.

Love J.R. Crickets wings! Always get the 10 piece, Hot Buffalo, with fries and they’re always great! Must admit, the fish smelled delicious! Think I will try it next time I go downtown. Service was great, fast, and friendly, wait time was minimal, everything was hot and fresh. One of my favorite wing spots in Atlanta!

Visiting from Buffalo and this is the best food we’ve had in this city so far by a long shot. We had the steak and chicken philly subs which were delicious. We also had to try their wings which we were skeptical about because nobody does it like Buffalo but were relieved when we met the friendly previous owner who was wearing a Bills shirt. The wings were 10/10! Best wings ive ever had outside the Buffalo area!

My family and I were spending the night in downtown Atlanta and our daughter who attends GSU was insistent on us trying their chicken wings since she’s been before. And I’m gonna be honest, the wings were on point! Like I don’t typically eat the entire wing because it’s not cooked to my liking but I devoured these. The rest of my family equally enjoyed their wings/tenders but they didn’t think to take pictures. FYI: we ordered from the little computer because there were five of us and we couldn’t decide but it is a little finicky.

I was supposed to sit back, eat wings with bae and enjoy watching the game, but these hollow, over cooked wings had other plans for my day. I’m disgusted and disappointed.. How hard is it to cook wings? This is NOT a good place to eat for plans to enjoy wings but rather a very last minute (ain’t nothing else open) type of option!

A smaller footprint but better food in my opinion. I visit occasionally and the experience has been consistent on each visit. My order is made properly and timely. The wings are crispy and the tenders are juicy.
The lady who works at the register is always busy, but manages to be pleasant and efficient. Hats off to her for a job well done.

This is ONE of THE most nastiest, unprofessional, horrible customer service locations EVER!!! Not to mention over priced! Today the person taking orders got into a screaming match with a CUSTOMER and sprayed pepper spray at the glass near the food and had everyone chocking what an unprofessional idiot! Save your coins and a belly ache (nasty food, literally) Don’t Eat Here!!! I will never order here again!!!! Horrible shame so close to my office and I was going to use them to cater our next faculty function!!!
