Terrible! Stopped by to bring some chicken tenders home with us and this is what we got for$12.00 and NO SIDES.
these are overcooked and tough as rubber, I should have opened container before I walked away and drove an hour home. Maybe “chef ” Mike” was off today but this is one of the worst meals I’ve ever seen . No wonder there was nobody there and all the other restaurants were packed at 2pm

Love the fact that they have a cold lobster roll!!! It was fresh and had good flavor. The clam roll was also good. Nice location to just sit and eat outside. Staff was really friendly! I’ll definitely go back.

My friend Terri and I drove 11/2 hours to check out this spot. The lobster roll was stuffed with lots of tender lobster meat. The fries were great and the homemade coleslaw was awesome. Chef Mike and Dahlia (behind the counter) were super friendly. They even took pictures of us all. Well wouth the drive. What are your waiting for?

First timers! The Noah was amazing! My daughter got the Buffalo chicken sandwich and she said the seasoning was sooo good!! Mike was so kind and friendly and they were great about changing my bread to wheat! French fries were hot, fresh and tasty not soggy or hard!! Great Cole slaw!! We will be back!!

Has potential, but really needs to step it up. We were initially happy to see a cold lobster roll option since many places in Connecticut only have the hot butter version. The lobster was good but it came with way too much lettuce (imo), but the real problem was the untoasted roll. It was like wet soggy wonder bread. I dont even think it can be called a lobster roll if you don’t toast the bun. The smash burger was not actually a smash burger either. It was a thick patty that tasted more like meatloaf. I like meatloaf, but I did not like this. The fries and onion rings were pretty good. There were lots of people around enjoying byob and the water view through the fence. Maybe it will get better.

The drive was long from East Hartford Connecticut but the food was so well worth every mile! Chef Mike recommended the shrimp tacos topped with their special sauce, which was fresh and absolutely delicious! The side of coleslaw was a big hit with me too! Chef Mike was awesome and very accommodating! The scenery is beautiful and the service was great! I highly recommend J&B Dockside!

I’m glad other people had a good experience here. We have gone here multiple times and have had no such luck. The first time we went we got the clam chowder, potatoes were raw to the point where they were crunchy, and had to crunch through them. Second time we went, fish tacos seemed to be a Costco freezer aisle fish stick in a tortilla. Other two times after that similar experiences. Seems there’s a good chance you’ll have a swell experience, just beware.

A great hidden gem on the CT shoreline! Great seafood and burgers with a view of the Clinton Harbor. The smash burger which is on the specials menu is delicious. and the seafood platter, are my personal go-to items to order.
