Incredible Bar and Balcony area with amazing view on the Balcony, separate Bar and Balcony menu available for daily dining with incredible Happy Hour food specials daily between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Large separate rooms available for private dining along with private dining menus available for ease of execution. Open Kitchen provides an incredible ambiance to one of our main dining area’s and we have a Fireplace in our second dining room for more of a romantic setting. The food was amazing. However, I’m giving three stars to mainly because of the service of this expensive establishment. They forgot my order and had to do it after everybody got their food (8 of us) which was very inconvenient.I also had to request my wine twice. Additionaly the ladies restroom didn’t even have seat covers or places to put your purse, which is not what I expected of this restaurant.
I did not receive any discount due to my inconvenience and I still tipped the 20% out of courtesy even though that wasnt extended to me.
This is not a place im coming back unless it’s a birthday that really makes me show up.

I went my first time last night. It was amazing. All the food was top notch! Seafood and steak was out of this world. Jim our server was best in class and did not disappoint! The chef made a visit and brought a special appetizer and desert for my first visit . I can’t say enough I will be back!

Tonight, we celebrated our 38 Anniversary here. The place had a warm and inviting atmosphere. We were soon greeted by our waitress, Elaina. Probably one of the best waitresses we’ve had in a while. She had an infectious smile, and was very attentive to our needs. My wife’s steak was cooked to perfection. The food was hot, and delicious. Afterward, we had the White Chocolate Crème Brûlée! Loved it! We’re planning to try their brunch soon. Parking is limited, but there is Complimentary Valet Parking.

Food was overpriced for average or sub-quality food expected for it’s price range. Service staff are why I will never return.
Our waiter, James B, was rude, combative, and all around a total ars from the very beginning because I and my partner ordered water (we don’t drink).
I ordered a basic salad, which came out without any dressing, and spaghetti and meatballs, which arrived dried out. He then blamed me for not mentioning what dressing I wanted when he never asked to begin with when we were placing our order (I assumed and would have been fine with whatever house dressing it would normally come with). When mentioning the dry spaghetti, he dismissed me by saying “Well, we aren’t an Italian restaurant.” and walking away.
My partner did enjoy her caesar salad.
We have been twice with separate friends and our original experience with Kevin was almost exactly the same. Overall, it has been a horrible experience both times and I would warn anyone away from wasting their time and money here.
Our friends say that the owners are extremely kind people that go above and beyond for their guests, but have had similar negative interactions with certain service staff.

J Michael Prime is absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we walked in, the experience was top-tier. Kambria, the manager, was absolutely spotless—professional, attentive, and radiating the most amazing attitude. You can truly tell she takes pride in what she does, and it sets the tone for the entire place.
Every single staff member was incredible, and bartender Jen was amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even better. Their housemade Bloody Mary is hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had, perfectly balanced and delicious.
And the food… WOW. Every dish was outstanding, full of flavor, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with care. There is not one bad thing on the menu.

Came here for the first time tonight after a long and annoying shift. I was surprised by the menu they had. There were plenty of plates that had very interesting combinations of ingredients. I had the pleasure sitting at the bar and had Kevin, Tiffany, and Brian make sure I was taken care of. These 3 were very professional and made your drinks taste exactly how’d you expect it to taste like, but only better. Cambria, one of the managers, and Loren, a passing by serve also made sure things were going smoothly for me. In all honesty this is above and beyond is all about. Only complete professional and charming people work here. Tonight I’ve decide to become a regular.

This place is and was top notch!! First of all most of the people I was with had never been there so the chef and souschef came out and greeted us with a small what looked like a meatball with a sauce reduction over the top!! WOW!! MELT IN YOUR MOUTH.. than the shrimp cocktail and calamari came out the shrimp were large, the calamari was in very light batter yesterday both melted in your mouth delicious I had the scratch made lobster ravioli my boyfriend and best friend and her boyfriend had the steaks. The stak was like butter didn’t even need a knife to cut it the lobster was done in a creme reduction sauce that there are no words for!! Except for wow and definitely would love to have it again it was rich and the lobster was done to perfection. Than cane the risotto I love risotto and this one was like no other the flavor of the carrots and seasoning were on point that was the best risotto I have had and I love it!! Chris our waitress was top notch kind friendly very knowledgeable about the food when we asked. She was on point with her service. The young man who bagged up our food was super kind friendly and made sure every ounce of food we were taking home was nice and neat in boxes. Hats off to all of them but especially to the chef!!

We visited J Michael’s Prime for my husband birthday due to recommendation after visiting RCB restaurant a month prior. I must say we were impressed with our experience at RCB and J Michael Prime did not disappoint! The atmosphere was beautiful and the team there was amazing from entry of the restaurant! Dillon our server was top tier he was knowledgeable and attentive without hovering very professional and friendly! Cambria who I met originally at RCB not only remembered us but made us feel like family and made our experience even more memorable! Visited J Michael’s Prime in Canton during our holiday trip to Georgia and it was so good we went three times in one week. The brunch was one of the best we’ve ever had as a family, and both dinners were outstanding. One night we sat in the bar for the vibe and live music and ended up eating our full dinner there—everything from the steaks to the sides and appetizers was excellent. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

5 Star Experience! Our family of 7 stopped in without a reservation after visiting our newborn great niece at Northside. The team at J Michael’s treated us like family. The service was warm and friendly and the food was top notch! We’ve already recommended it to our family on that side of town and will certainly be back when we’re in the area again.
