Dropped in for dinner. Had to order at the entrance and only the patio was open to sit down and eat. Ordered a half Philly cheesesteak combo with fries, and a half Philly pizza steak with pepperoni and potato salad combo. Both sandwiches were ok.

We have enjoyed J Michael’s many times, but this afternoon my wife got a carry out Reuben that was impoverished of the ingredients that are normally plentiful. My wife didn’t go back in because the signs hanging around made her feel it wouldn’t be attended to. I was very disappointed. If were contacted, I’ll revisit my review.

Today was my first time here and it was delicious! I got the small Philly cheesesteak, fries with cheese, and an order of pickles with ranch. Our food came out rather quickly. Our waitress was real nice and checked on us often. The establishment was clean and very cold. I will be back.

NASTY CONDITIONS AND TERRIBLE SERVICE
The tables were so grimy that you could draw on them, and everything in general was old and poorly maintained. We waited over 30 minutes for our food, and the waitress never once came back to the table to check on us, or give us an update on the wait. Had we not been with friends, I would have taken a cue from the table next to us, and just walked out due to the wait and poor service. My wife never even got a glass of water until after the waitress brought out our food and I asked The waitress. The waitress never refilled drinks unless we asked. The kitchen looked disgusting, sloppily organized, and there was trash just being kicked around. Once it finally came out, our fries were cold, and the cheese steak was overcooked and dry. The bathrooms were similarly dirty. This place has obvious top-down management issues. I highly recommend avoiding this establishment.

This place used to be great, 10-12 years ago. Last time we ate there they messed up one cheese steak and couldn’t seem to get refills. Waitress seemed to wander off, she never brought me a ticket and when I went up front to pay, nobody would take the money or even look my way. So we left without paying or a tip for that matter, well three weeks later they unbelievably pressed charges on me for “defrauding an innkeeper” over $23 worth of horrible service and horrible cheese steaks. I definitely won’t be returning and tell everyone I know what to expect from J Michaels. Petty, just petty.

I have only been to lunch here so that is what my personal experience is here. Esthetically Is not very pleasing to the eye Seems old and antiquated The walls very plane it looks like a hodgepodge of just things that they had put up on the walls There is no common theme to tell you what this restaurant serves. The hanging lights are dirty and many of the decorative covers are broken some are tape. My table was very sticky, very gross feeling. As for the food there is nothing special very average. Nothing i have eaten here was full of flavor. Serving are not large and very , i guess depending on who is cooking. The service is outstanding we always had.

Always on point! My favorite place in the area! Since I was born here and had my first cheesesteak, this place is the best. Hands down. And the fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks, the only way to go! Thank you guys for keeping it consistently delicious!

Amazing Frips & good onion rings. The Chicken Cheesesteak was good but way too much cheese sauce for me. Was told to double the meat and forgot. I will go back to try grinders and subs. Really fresh bread. Great service. I would recommend!
