I brought my sons here for dinner not knowing much about it. The food is great! The staff is super friendly and inviting. They made us feel right at home. My 7 year old is an extremely picky eater. He ate my salad, his entire slice of pizza and some chicken wings. He said it was his favorite pizza I love that it’s family run. I myself work at my family run business. It’s an awesome vibe. I 100% recommend. The pizza, wings, and the cavatelli and broccoli were delicious. Will definitely be back.

Loved the pizza . It was takeout, and I tried pepperoni and chipotle, both with great flavor, and they have several other options. Around $40 for two large pizzas with toppings, I’d say it’s a good deal considering their good quality. Customer service was very friendly and fast, I’d say. Regarding the plaza, there are plenty of parking spots; that’s not an issue at all. The store itself looks more like a takeout format, with limited dine-in space; however, the store looked very clean to me. ✨️ overall, it is a good option ✅️

Canned ingredients??? I truly don’t understand the good reviews. I was shocked to open our order and find it had canned mushrooms. I could tell just by looking at it, but tried a bite in case I was wrong and sure enough, it was a sad, rubbery mushroom with that awful canned flavor. When I called J Leno’s to find out if they ran out of fresh mushrooms or if this was how they normally made pizzas, the receptionist confirmed they were always canned. When I let him know it was super disappointing they weren’t using fresh ingredients and that we were first-time customers, he just said “Sorry to hear that” and hung up on me. No attempt to make it right or keep us as future customers. There are 30 other pizza places in town – pizza shops are SO competitive here. There is no room for sub-par ingredients or customer service when so many better options are readily available. We have tried a dozen places in Toms River and not a single one uses anything but fresh ingredients. To pay $55 for a 2-topping pizza and another with canned mushrooms on it (which I paid $4 extra for the mushrooms just to pick them off my pizza) is crazy. I can’t remember a time in the last 20 years I ate less than half a pizza after ordering, but I could barely even choke down two slices. We will stick with Johnny G’s who actually care about quality and have excellent pies.

I absolutely love this place ! The service is amazing the food is always delicious. We order at least once a week now. The cheesesteaks are one of the best I have ever had in Jersey. The pizza is always perfect, I have yet to have a dish from there that I did not like.

My husband runs in and grabs a slice for each of us when we are on the run in the area. We both like it and have gone back quite often. Sauce is good, crust crunchy and just salty enough. Never tried anything else, therefore, 4 stars. Looks like they have some good deals on packages.
