Great place in left field. The cheese curds were outstanding. The margarita pizza was good, decent flavor. The selection of Leines provided a great selection.

This is an awesome place to visit. No idea what it is like during a game, but off season, I still think it is a home run.

View is awesome, setting is great.

The place is super clean. Not a scrap of dirt seen anywhere.

The staff I interacted with seem to be happy. Everyone was pleasant and responded quickly.

Some of the group had salads, some schnitzel and some like me, the pastrami sandwich. It was all good. Fries were some of the best I have had in a long time.

I would not hesitate to come here again.

Great restaurant at AMFAM. Awesome views with quality food and drinks if willing to get there early or have the patience to be on the waiting list.

Decent food, regular American cuisine nothing spectacular. We had great service from Amaya, the view of the field is nice. Our food was fresh and pretty solid, no complaints.

We decided to take advantage of the “Kids Eat Free” day at J. Leinenkugel’s Barrel Yard. This restaurant is such a cool idea. You have your choice of any Leinenkugel beer on tap plus 5 pilot beers that are not available anywhere outside the ballpark. I had the blood orange IPA. It was awesome, and who knows, maybe it will sell enough to get it moved to full-time production. The staff was ready for all the kids. We arrived about 20 minutes before the rush, and that proved to be a good move. The staff are quick, friendly, consultative, and don’t worry if your kid is messy. They’ve got it handled. My wife had a salad and beer battered walleye. I had Pa’s pastrami sandwich. Both were really good. Went great with our cheese curds and fried pickles. Needless to say there was still some food left to box up at the end, so the portions are great. I’ll have to come back without my little one for trivia night one of these evenings. Just a really cool family brewpub concept, and you can see the field from where you’re eating. Don’t forget to stop at the Milwaukee Brewers team store on your way out because who doesn’t have at least 6 different Brewers hats?

Really awesome place to get a meal and a beer or two while at a Brewers game. Any visit to the ballpark should include a visit to the Barrel Yard.

I’m not one to give 5 stars in all four categories, but I couldn’t find anything wrong with this place in my first visit. Several Leinenkugel beers on tap, including beers brewed on-site. A cheeseburger and fries that completely hit the spot, and decent, free parking (no games in December, lol). Brightly lit and very clean, I’m planning on visiting again.

The staff and service was great. The food was very good as well. I heard the interview with the Barrel Yard chefs on 97.3 last week and that prompted us to go. I recommend trying it out, they have a lot of food options some fun beers on tap. The Fresh Hop Lager was fantastic. I wish we could have tried more but we were so full from what we ordered. Next time I guess.

I do have two feedback items.
1. The menu doesn’t appear to have everything that is available listed. I heard on the radio interview that there was Prime Rib on Saturdays, but it was no where to be found on the menu or signs. I had to ask about it and the server had to go and check. Not sure how anyone else would know it’s available. I suggest having the nightly specials listed somewhere.
2. They also talked about the buttermilk biscuits a lot on the radio. I was really excited for those, but it may have been an off night for that item because ours were just dense squares. It was expecting light and fluffy.

Overall, I gave it a very good rating and we enjoyed it. I hope more people come out and try it!

First time at the new restaurant, I was not disappointed. I was surprised the place was mostly empty on a Wednesday evening.
I had a cheeseburger and fries, both were very good. Service was great. Nice atmosphere overlooking the field. I will definitely go here again.

Enjoyable trivia night, though a bit stretched out. Chicken was excellent, burger was tasty. Liked the stout white mocha special offering. Even without a game the views are intriguing. Will return when the Brewers are in town.
