French rolls are great, but it’s pretty spendy and busy and they only take cash. ATM inside, but the bank will likely charge a fee for using it. There’s a BofA across the street. Overall good, not great.

Fantastic hot subs with great homemade bread, great prices, perfectly sized and nice and filling. Nice staff. Good old school place (which means it’s small inside with small tables). Grilled pastrami and corned beef special is amazing.

Absolutely incredible sandwiches on French bread. Highly recommend the turkey club or anything else with turkey as they use actual carved turkey and not the skimpy thin slice deli turkey like most other places.

I will be a dedicated customer forever! This place has the BEST subs! Always fresh rolls and meats and the chicken salad is amazing. I have been going there for YEARS but was unaware they only took cash. My order came to 10 or 15 dollars more than what I had in cash. I offered the owner my debit card but was told “Don’t worry, happy holidays.” To say I felt so awful is an understatement- it was clearly an accident but they have a business to run.
Fast forward a month (things got busy) and I didn’t forget the kindness he showed me. I got a sub again and sent my daughter in with a note reminding him of his kindness that I still hadn’t forgotten, with a 20 dollar bill tucked inside.
To have great food, great customer service and go above and beyond makes JL’s an easy 10/10!!
