The food is absolutely exceptional-every dish is full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The service is truly the best; the staff is attentive, friendly, and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The drinks are top notch, expertly crafter and perfectly balanced. On the weekends, the live bands provide great entertainment and creat such a fun, vibrant atmosphere. Highly recommend for an amazing dining and nightlife experience.

Was passing through, with family, on the way back down to San Diego. We like supporting local dives and we hit the jackpot with this one. Drinks were perfect and affordable. Owner was honest with us about a few things on the menu and that’s when we realized how much they cared about their customers. The food was very good and the price was on point. They do have live music but not on our visit. If I’m ever back on the West coast, this place will beat definite stop.

Stopped by on St. Patrick’s Day for green beers and were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was! We had the shrimp cocktail which was fresh and the cocktail sauce was really good. We also had the corned beef, cabbage & pototao dinner, and I can honestly say that it’s the best we’ve ever had! The corned beef was uniquely and deliciously seasoned. The cabbage was cooked just perfect and the potatoes were just as enjoyable. The portions were also very generous, and even we packed some home for lunch the next day. Pricing was good & fair compared to other local places, so I can see why one might want to dine here more frequently than other spots.
The genrtlman who took our order was part of the family and was very welcoming, friendly & helpful with the menu.
Parking can probably be a challenge on nights when they have bands playing, but we got lucky and had no problem finding great parking just steps from the door.
We even ran into some people we know and met some new people who raved about the crab legs, so we’re looking forward to trying those on our next visit!

After Travelocity failed miserably at putting me in Crescent City for the weekend, I had no choice but to make the best of it and enjoy the beach.
I planned on getting myself some fresh seafood once I arrived at the Pacific Coast, and so I did.
J King Neptunes is a mix of seafood, entertainment, and friendly service. The theme of the place is perfect. Had the seafood combination and the Alaskan Lobster, all perfectly cooked and presented. The food is at the right price.
We found a cozy corner and enjoyed several drinks.
I would definitely eat here again.

I came here to see a friend’s band… We ended up staying until closing because the vibe was just great.
The bartenders were excited for some new faces and we got lots of great stories and service.
Make no mistake this is a dive bar, but I love a good dive bar!
The locals were fun and rowdy in the best of ways. One bartender even got up and jammed with the band.
Very random night but so much fun. I think this is worth checking out. Lots of seating at the bar and 5 or 6 tables plus seating for a large group if needed.
Would love to come back and spend the day here eating and drinking

This is a great hid-a-away seafood resturant. The work staff is personable. The food is fantastic. The crab legs are the biggest I have ever been served! Properly priced this is a “Diamond in the Rough” you do not want to miss!

This may have been a restaurant in the past, but it’s a pub now. They had some yummy seafood options, but only bar seating and a few high-tops. A “restaurant” denotes family-friendly, and this place was not. The pub distinction is an important one as our family has two kids and had to order “to go” once we walked inside. Later, we saw another small family do the same thing, eating in their car instead of going inside. The food was in smaller portions and without garnish, consistent with my assertion. It’s a five star pub, but a four star restaurant.
