This was the first time we stopped in for dinner. Restauraunt interior very nice! We were greeted with friendly smiles and fast service to table. Multiple items ordered. Phiily steak cheese sandwich and onion rings. See photo…sandwich isunderneath onion rings. Smothered chicken and a Fish dinner. Everything was GREAT!!! if you like bloody marys…you are going to to love their decorated version. Delicious!! The menu had a great choice of dinners and appetizers. Now regarding desserts….Wow! I dont usually get one..but I couldnt pass up their coconut pie with homemade merinque. Fantastic taste with lots of coconut. Grab a fork and spoon for their brownie fudge sundae. Absolutely huge dessert!!! I tasted a spoonful of it from my grandson…Great brownie, ice cream and whipped topping and hot fudge! Without a question, stop here for great food!! we defineately recommend and we will be back!!!

Me and my husband went here for the first time today. We seated right away. The food was amazing. I ordered the corned beef and my husband ordered the hot turkey sandwich. Both were excellent. Prices are worth it as you get huge portions. I hope to make it back sometime.

Country restaurant with lots of options for food and drink. I love their meatloaf dinner special on Wednesday. We brought a few people there that have especially enjoyed the Ironman burger and we’re successful eating it.

I had heard many great things about J.J’s, so we stopped in while in the area. My wife had the Chicken Parmesan which she said was good, but said it had an extra sauce on the chicken that she didn’t care for. I went with the Lake Perch which had good flavor and texture, not overly soft or mushy. The dinner salad was good and fresh too. Not sure if it’s always self seating, but it was when we were there. Service was fast even on a Friday night maybe 10 from the time we ordered.

I like this place because it’s comfortable family atmosphere but the food is really good as well and if you don’t get the chocolate peanut butter pie then there’s no Help for you in the future. They do have other pies but That’s my go to and it’s fantastic. The only complaint I have is the bathroom is not giant friendly.

Can not say anything bad about this place! Fish and chips are fantastic! So much food!! 2 beers each and 2 dinners $43. Our server was amazing as well. This is now my go to spot!

JJ Rubys is the best place to eat around Alma,St.louis, and Ithaca. Food is fantastic no matter what you order. I’ve never seen the servers let on if they are having a bad day. Nothing but smiles. And they have the best steak in central Michigan! Even better than the Texas Roadhouse as far as I’m concerned. I highly recommend checking out this wonderful place if you haven’t already!
