My husband wanted to try this out. The staff was very friendly. It was very clean inside. The only bummer was that there were no tables for customers to sit and eat, so we had to eat in our car. No biggie tho. We had to wait like 10-15 min I think for the food. It was fresh and tasty. I wish I would have asked for a lemon. Not sure if they had any but it would have made it better. we would def go here again.

Today was the worst experience I ever had. Typically, the service and food is phenomenal. I’ve been coming here for six years. Today, I was told one price over the phone, but when I got there to pick up my order, I was told a different price. The gentleman said the price was due to the tax on food. If it was taxes, they they are charging more than 25% on taxes. To make matters worst, I ordered steak catfish and come to find out after I made it home, they gave me filet catfish. I NEVER ORDER FILET CATFISH FROM THEM BECAUSE I WAS TOLD by an EMPLOYEE (thank you for your honesty), IT’S NOT REALLY CATFISH, ITS SWAi. I called back to let them know they gave me filet instead of steak, the person on the phone said, “my bad” and had the audacity to hang up on me… Long story short, double check the price when phoning in an order and DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING. TERRIBLE DISAPPOINTED….

The chicken was good with lemon pepper and hot and mild sauce. But when asked about cat fish tail, he would not sell them he said they were to small he would be embarrassed . We offer to pay anyway because we no longer live in Illinois. We came visiting from North Carolina. He still would not sell. So now we have to go to another jj to get them.

If you’re looking for AMAZING chicken tenders and service, this is your place! They’re cheap, quick and friendly. Don’t get the catfish nuggets, though. They’re a waste of money. They’re way too hard to chew and not very good.
