Stopped in last Saturday, our 1st time there. The view of the lake, the food, the staff, all were fantastic!! We will be visiting again. We really enjoyed it!

I have only gone for Thursday night name that tune and the wings. Great wings. Love the Jeri sauce. Anywho atmosphere inside like a bar/grill outside and seeing the sunset over the water? 5 stars!

Chili was good, pizza was just ok, place was pretty busy and they only had a single server covering the entire restaurant AND bar. Has outdoor seating though and the view is pretty great.

I rarely send food back. I will look at the staff and tell them how delicious it is if asked. Today I sent my burnt medium burger back. I was secretly proud of myself for not paying for, what I find to be, gross food. As I sat there listening to the cook complain about me, saying she’s never had a burger returned and I complain about everything. I decided to take it off my bill an just won’t frequent that place.
Edit: as the Mgr ad owner sat quietly by listening.

Picked up 4 dozen wings tonight. So sad, no sauce, and very dried out. Reheated day old buffet leftovers? These are supposed to be mild and medium SAUCE.

Awesome place with AMAZING food! Open at noon daily and open until 1 am! No more closing early and not opening until 4! No longer closed on Mondays either! The new owners are the sweetest people and make you feel right at home!

There’s nothing like kicking back and witnessing a stunning sunset sky while seated outdoors with a nice cold beverage and a hot plateful of food. Try it sometime – it really makes life easier to digest. Of course, when the weather doesn’t participate, the indoor part of the Sugar Lake Hotel tavern is retro and inviting. No matter how you stack it, this is a great place to chill or warm up – you make the call.
