I ordered a Voodoo chicken and Jambalaya. I didn’t know what to order and the cashier was especially nice to introduce us and give us samples patiently. The food is extremely reasonably priced and the portions were definitely generous. This place gives me great homemade vibes at an extremely reasonable price. It was pretty empty on a Saturday evening so please go out there and try this place.

I ate here for the 1st ever and when I say Mrs. Penny made my experience wonderful she was kind and courteous and explained every menu item with details. The food was good and the portions are huge. She also went out of her way to express birthday wishes to me as well. This place is a gem I highly recommend.

Quaint little place…service was good. Food was good. Im wasn’t a fan of having everything thrown together in one bowl.

This place is truly a gem. 100% fantastic. We have been here in the past, and now with the new owners and absolutely delicious food. We got to try samples to figure out what we wanted and could get two kinds in the same bowl. 100% recommend.

Loved the jambalaya! Ordered the gumbo to go and had it later for dinner. Both were delicious I highly recommend them. The service was great and friendly. Jessica was so kind and courteous and very welcoming to veterans. I was very impressed and was glad I stopped in. More food than I could eat and a great price too. I’m from out of town and this was a real gem to find!!!

Did not have a good first time experience. I ordered the jambalaya to go from the friendly waitress, tipped and went on my way. Get home and I discovered that my order was wrong. I like most Cajun food so i decided to just eat what was I given since it was a 20 min drive back. I got some kind of red sauce with chicken and sausage with white rice on the bottom. It was NOT jambalaya. It was NOT GOOD. The sauce was filled with tough vegetables and the rice was hard and stale like. And there wasn’t much rice anyways so it was mostly bad sauce. I really had high hopes for this place and was looking for a quick Cajun place to take out.

Extremely good, one of the best restaurants. Spicy and sweeter options.

The service by Shy was exceptional. She was nice enough to let us taste test the specials she recommended. I am worldwide food critic/ taste tester.
With that being said the gumbo had phenomenal flavor, and the hot buffalo chicken combo was outstanding. I had to make another order of the garlic toast to enjoy this outstanding meal.

Original owner recreated his mom’s recipes from New Orleans. The food is solid and has a good variety of spicy and not-so-spicy bowls. Drunken Chicken is my favorite and hits the spot on a cold day.
