Fantastic experiences every time we visit. We visit multiple times a year for the last five years and it’s a favorite for my husband and I. We got engaged here and they hosted us for both our engagement photos and wedding dinner. Nothing short of professionalism, comfort and great taste. The Prix Fixe is such a good menu, we cannot visit and go without our Maryland crab bisque and the drinks just are phenomenal. They have an entrance connected to the Marriott for convenience with a sky walk that suits all weather. Special shout out to Gina, our server the last three times we’ve visited, she’s so incredibly attentive, friendly and has a great eye for detail. We’ve visited around major holidays Valentine’s Day and New Years and she’s been such a delight in making sure the experience was perfection. It’s a great spot for date nights, somewhere special to take family visiting from out of town or during a night out with friends given it’s so close to so many entertainment options.

I had such a great experience at J. Gilbert’s, and I genuinely have to shout out Melissa, the manager. From the moment we walked in, she carried herself with so much professionalism and warmth. You can tell she truly cares about both the guests and her team. She was attentive without hovering, checked in at the perfect times, and made sure everything at our table was exactly how it should be.
What really stood out was how calm and confident she was while still being so kind and personable. She handled everything smoothly and made us feel valued, not just like another table. It’s rare to see management that’s this involved and intentional about creating a great atmosphere. Because of Melissa, our experience went from good to amazing. J. Gilbert’s is lucky to have her leading — she sets the standard for what hospitality should feel like.

What an awesome dining experience! Reminded me of restaurants in DC, with its modern interior look and bustling vibe. Our service was excellent, and the food was exceptionally delicious! We each ordered the three-course meal, which for what we got were very reasonably priced. For the entree I got the steak and crab cake and both were absolutely phenomenal! The wife got the same but had a side of mushroom risotto which was probably the best risotto I’ve tasted! We also ordered a Calamari appetizer, which was really flavorful and lightly breaded, and wine as well. The 3-course meal also came with a dessert, so we got probably one of the tastiest creme brules we’ve ever had, and a huge slice of carrot cake that was “oh my gosh delicious”! Definitely cannot say enough good things about our experience… Highly recommend!

So so yummy!! A not upscale but business casual enough I could drop in after a long day on the road. No reservation, seated quickly though. Sorry martini was decent, but not remarkable. The food, however, was great. We shared a ribeye, Mac n cheese, and corn. Mac n cheese was some of the best! Ultra creamy, cheesy, and rich. Creamed corn with bacon was also awesome. Sweet, salty, creamy, yum! We also decided to splurge on the carrot cake. Man was it rich, but a great dessert to share. Cake was unbeatably moist!! It had these rich layers between the cake as well. Service was great, very attentive. Atmosphere was beautiful, tall ceilings and long fireplaces, with an expansive bar.

Great dining experience! Modern atmosphere, delicious food, excellent service! We ordered the salmon and a ribeye – fixed perfectly! Had green beans w/ pecans, cauliflower au gratin, and mashed potatoes as sides ~ delicious! Regular wine and beer for drinks, and no dessert this time. The sourdough bread was warm and fresh! Our food came out quickly and was fixed exactly as we ordered. Our server, Logan, was attentive and very helpful. Prices were very reasonable! We will definitely be dining here again!

We came here last night for a date night, and it was such a wonderful choice. The food was excellent — the Pretzel Crusted Onion Rings and the Shrimp Cocktail were both amazing. The atmosphere was perfect, not too loud, and it felt upscale without being stuffy. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a great dining experience.

Very nice upscale steakhouse. Impeccable service from Ashley (I hope I’m remembering her name correctly.) Really liked being able to choose my own style of steak knife. We ordered off the pre-fixe menu (1st time in) and it did not disappoint! Medium rare filet mignon with bourbon maple glazed shrimp, asparagus & tomatoes and sour cream mashed potatoes. Side salad was more like a normal dinner salad packed with a lot of good things, not just a few tomatoes and croutons. My dinner guest had her filet with the lump crab cake.
For dessert, we ordered the crème brûlée. Never saw a crème brûlée like this one, and it was perfect! We also had the berry dessert. My smoked Old Fashioned was excellent!
Can’t say enough good things about this place. The noise level was acceptable even with a full dining room. Stop by and see this place for yourself!

Really enjoyed this steakhouse. The oysters on the half shell were fantastic. The fillet was very flavorful and melted in my mouth. It was more on the rare side than medium rare, but it worked for me. I sat at the bar and Holly was very attentive and friendly. I recommend this place to wind down, a nice drink and great meal.
