This is one of my favorite local spots! The atmosphere/service are great & the food never disappoints. I have been a few times for lunch & have had the club, pulled pork, ruben and fish & chips. Their fries are crispy and taste great in their Guinness gravy. Don’t skip the pork rinds, they are fresh & all you can eat! Seasonal beer on tap as well as a lunch special.

I read a lot of reviews before coming here. My daughter and I stopped by about two weeks ago on a Wednesday around 3:30. I got the reuben and she got the fish and chips. The food was outstanding! I ate her coleslaw and it was really good- seasoned just right. There were few people there and the bar-tender was our waitress and did a great job.

We stopped by there again before leaving town on a Saturday evening. This experience was very different this time. Our waitress was a young woman who after being told we needed just a few more minutes to look at the menu, didn’t come back for over 20 minutes. I got the fish and chips and my daughter got their BLT…asking for no cream cheese on it but mayo instead. During the time we were waiting for our food the waitress asked us no less than 3 times how we were doing. We were sitting there with our drink glasses FULL. We obviously just needed our food.

Upon being brought our food…she disappeared again. There was no mayo on the BLT. There was a LOT of bacon…but it was a weird combination of completely BURNT around the edges and floppy for the rest of it. The cole slaw didn’t have the same great flavor…it was mostly just cabbage covered in largely ground black pepper. My daughter finally asked the bar tender for mayo since our waitress wasn’t interested in our table. We were never asked how our food was. Only a good while AFTER we had to get the mayo elsewhere did she show up to ask if we needed anything. If this had been our first visit, I would have never come here again. I know it can be better and there were other servers that were hustling and taking care of their tables. It looked like there were mostly young people in the kitchen the second night. I would only go back during the off hours when people who knew how to cook were back there.

The food was absolutely amazing! I had the Cookstown chicken and my wife had a Mcdouble burger that was a smashup between a burger and Reuben sandwich. Both meals left us very full but we powered on to try their bread pudding for dessert and it was equally as amazing. The staff were friendly and checked in with us too ensure that everything was good.

Wanted to try somewhere new and figured why not. We typically like Irish food, but left highly disappointed. We were greeted and sat fairly quickly. It wasn’t busy when we arrived, but it was an hour before closing too. Our waitress was nice and somewhat attentive, but out of 3 orders only 1 arrived correctly. My son ordered the chicken tacos without the coleslaw and aioli while my husband ordered the Fat Bastard with a slice of cheese (*because they were out of beer cheese*) with onions, no bbq sauce, and no chili. Neither order were correct or were offered to be corrected. Our waitress apologized and blamed the kitchen as she “wrote the order right”. I asked for an order of plain chicken strips for my son due to the soggy food on his messed up order and after the waitress checked with the manager, he finally had food he could eat. We were told that we wouldn’t be charged extra for the chicken strips due to the order being messed up, but alas, we were anyways. My food was just okay. My husband ate half of my plate. The trio appetizer we ordered was good, but that’s about it. $65+ for 1 out of 3 correct orders and a good appetizer isn’t worth it in my opinion. This was one of the worst experiences we’ve had in a restaurant EVER. I can’t say I’ve ever had aioli that’s the consistency of gravy before and to be 100% honest I don’t want to ever again. Overall, save your money and go anywhere else.

So far one of the best fish and chips (no freezer burn like other restaurants). Those pork rinds are a most!. I definitely would go back to try burgers and bangers/mash. Service=B+

Love the story behind why they opened and love reading all the plaques inside. The food was incredible and our server was great! I believe this was the best burger I’ve ever had! I went with the Mick Double, he went with the rueben which he liked as well! Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area!

Great location right off 66, plenty of parking and seating. They have a vast selection of alcohol/liquor; beer on tap, bottle and cans! They have an interesting menu, not an Irish foody but they have a lot of non Irish food options and lots of appetizers too. Lots of firefighter memorabilia to check out while you wait, and a really heart wrenching origin story of how they became J. Farleys. 10/10 recommend

Cool lil place off 66. Sat at the bar ordered a water (didnt kno what I wanted yet) an the cute lil bartender threatened to go all coyote ugly on me (joking- hell no h2o) so I obliged- took her recc for a ducks poop (I think) it was really good peanut butter coffee type shot but could have a different name and I wouldn’t mind. Macaroni bites were great, totally recc the bacon burger with uh over easy egg and beer fries! Wash it all down with a rum/cider concoction that she raved about, also 10/10. Too bad she had a ring on THAT finger or I’d be back more often (joking-chill-she gets paid to be nice-i kno) place has mixed reviews but I had the best experience, I dont come thru RoCo much anymore but when I do Ill be sure to stop by and have a drink an a bite to eat with M at Jay Farleys!

Nice establishment, terrific cold beer and good whiskey. We enjoyed our food as well. Neat place that has one of the most unique urinals I’ve ever seen. Check out the pic. Lastly, the bartender Sarah B. was awesome as well. I went back a second time and enjoyed a nice salad.
