We went to try the shrimp, and we were not disappointed! The place was packed, so we shared a table with a couple we didn’t know. Other than that, the shrimp and hush puppies were great. One thing we found that was funny is that we received pealed shrimp while the rest of our table received shrimp in shell. The shrimp in shell tastes 100% better than those without shell – without shell is very salty. So, if given the choice, pick the shrimp in shell. We plan to go again. Next time we’re trying the crab legs!!!

We patronize this place often, however while we took some out of town friends there this past Sunday it was crowded. There were only a few tables near the dance floor and there were a group of people occupying the are while playing shuffle board. They were rude towards my wife and made our stay there uncomfortable. Shame on the bar manager for allowing this, as we were there to spend money at the bar and the Shrimp Shack, which is their kitchen out back. We will think long and hard before we go back there.

Love this little place. Went last Sunday and it wasn’t busy, but understandable for a Sunday night. We did not try any food because we had already ate. The bartender was wonderful. More people ended up coming in and we danced together.

My friend and I went in for a drink in the middle of the afternoonsnd say at the bar. The Barmaid was not friendly at all. Looked like she was in a really bad mood. She Set the drinks down hard and walked away. Won’t be back.

I serve the food on Thursdays and I love all our customers! I also Sing on some Sundays and I DJ Friday nights! The Shrimp Shack is faithfully open every Th-Fri-Sat and Sun 12-9 rain or shine! We close for winter. Can’t wait to see u all next year ♥️ love Party Pam

Food so far as I know is limited exclusively to the Shrimp Shack out on the patio. That food is outstanding! There’s a cover over picnic tables and a small stage. Gabe and his “band” was there and excellent! Really enjoyable time.

Seafood chowder was incredible! We consumed 2 lbs. of shrimp. Food arrived quicker than anticipated. Staff very attentive and accommodating. At request, garlic butter provided along with Old Bay hot sauce! Delicious. Can’t wait to visit again!

Can’t speak much to the tavern itself, but outside they have “The Shrimp Shack”. When we’ve been there, they had live music. And 2lbs of peel and eat shrimp for $25. Fun atmosphere.

My sisters and I went here. We got the peel-&-eat shrimp and smoked whitefish dip from the Shrimp Shack and Margaritas from inside the bar. They have a nice outdoor seating area that was playing island music. Fun place! Only thing was the colorful language from the really young girl at the Shrimp Shack when I asked where they get their smoked whitefish from. I wasn’t asking for their dip recipe. Just wanted a local source for buying smoked whitefish in the area. She wouldn’t tell me. The other girl that waited on us was really nice and waitress inside the bar was awesome!

We love the place….small and friendly. Peggy, the bartender, is very nice. The Shrimp Shack has good food….. especially the soup. They’re closed for the winter though.
