I had such a wonderful experience at J. Christopher’s! The food was absolutely delicious everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The service was top notch, everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this place. My friend and I really like coming here for breakfast/brunch so we meet here about once a month or so. The service is always great, the atmosphere is laid back and eclectic yet refined, the seating is spacious with tables and booths.
Today (Jan 1, 2025) we came in about 1pm, and didn’t have to wait for a seat.
For my entree I had the Eggs Christopher which is poached eggs on roasted turkey, bacon and tomato on an English muffin; very good flavors all together. I had the side of fruit and the blueberry crunchcakes which I always order because they are delicious and a perfect blend of sweet crunchy and blueberry.
I really enjoy this place and highly recommend.

We love J Christopher’s in Downtown Woodstock. The food is really good and very consistent. My favorite is the eggs Benedict and I always get the potatoes. The coffee is excellent and the manager is so kind and personable. When I bring my friends they often have special requests which are handled tactfully and with a smile! Substitute tomatoes for the side or extra avocado. No problem! I can’t say enough about the way this location is run. Just fantastic!

Tried out a new place to us and we all enjoyed it! The food was excellent, the service was great, and the location was right in the heart of Woodstock. The only tough thing was that parking was hard to find as it was shared by all the other businesses in the area. Prices were great, and there was a wide selection of items. A note, the Sunday menu is slightly limited to accommodate the higher traffic. It was busy at 11 but our party of 6 was seated within a few minutes. We will be back!

Although the atmosphere was inviting with portraits and pictures of different artists places on the walls, the host did not greet us and needed to be prompted to communicate. Also, the waitress was friendly. However, she forgot several items and had to be reminded. The food was tasty and the portion size were sufficient.

My boyfriend took me here for breakfast and holyyyy cow! They have corned beef hash, a rare find in my opinion! Everything we got was delicious. The regular coffee was also really good.

After I paid for my tab I told the server I had a hair in one of the dishes I ordered, different length and color of mine or my friends. He seemed like he didn’t care. I live half of mile from downtown, I’m not considering coming back, it was disgusting.

Very nice restaurant, nice decorated and organized. It is a busy place, and the food is great. On the ceiling there is a railroad track where a locomotive rides around, adding a good charm to the place. Servers are very nice and do a great job. It’s a great place for a meal. Good food selection if offered with reasonable prices.

I had to come leave a review after such an amazing breakfast here! I have a gluten allergy, which makes eating out very difficult. It’s gotten to the point where i dont even eat out anymore out of fear of cross-contamination. This place, however, has so many gluten free options and catered to my gluten allergy. In addition, the breakfast potatoes are the best i have ever tasted. Hands down. I ordered the veggie omelette, which ended up tasting absolutely amazing as well. I definitely recommend this place.
