This place is great! Me and my friend went and orderd rose panni and the j club. Both were absolutely delicious. We also got a lunch box togo and it was well packaged. With the sandwhich wrapped in tin foil that kept it hot and yummy. If you want to enjoy/support an small family run cafe then this is the place!

Favorite cafe near my work. Coffee tastes the BEST here, no contest. Always friendly, great prices, fast service. Never ever have had an issue, even when it gets busy in the morning (because it’s a cafe), because I know how to be patient. This place has made many of my mornings better because it’s here. My recent visit to this restaurant was incredibly disappointing. My colleagues and I stopped by for a quick lunch during a conference at the convention center, hoping for a decent meal. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations.
The service was slow and unfriendly from the start. The person taking our order seemed rushed and uninterested in providing a positive customer experience. The wait for our food was excruciatingly long, and when it finally arrived, the quality was subpar. The egg salad sandwich lacked flavor and was far from appetizing. To make matters worse, the iced chai tea was watery and barely resembled its namesake.
As if the poor service and food weren’t enough, we were rudely informed that the restaurant was closing while we were still eating. The abruptness and lack of courtesy left a sour taste in our mouths, figuratively and literally.
Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in recent memory. I would strongly advise others to steer clear of this establishment. Dine in at your own risk.
I hope this review helps others make informed decisions about where to eat. If the restaurant takes steps to improve, I might consider revisiting in the future, but for now, I cannot recommend it.

I placed an order to go 11/13 & was told to give 8-10 mins. I get a call around 15 minutes later and the guy says “it’s J Cafe, are you coming or not”. I let him know I’m right around the corner. No one’s food is ever that good to talk to anyone like that. I used to bring my friends here, we will be taking our business elsewhere.

Extremely friendly staff and fast service. I liked the convenience of the location and being able to walk and and get good food and a nice selection of drinks easily and short wait. Next step is getting all the coffee! We got the Oswego Roma and Rose garden sandwiches and highly recommend.

If you love bagels, this is a great place to get breakfast. I had an everything bagel with cream cheese, egg, and bacon. The fillings were delicious and plentiful. Great service, nice atmosphere, clean, organized, creative… Coffee was very good too. Location is really close to the Hyatt Regency and Oregon Convention Center. Menu also had panini sandwiches, and other toppings like lox, turkey, ham, sausage, peanut butter, nutella, etc. They have bananas and oatmeal too.
