I can’t say enough great things about J Buffalo Wings on Epps Bridge in Athens! From start to finish, the experience was absolutely top-tier. The food was incredibly fresh you could taste the quality in every bite. The wing flavors were insanely good and honestly gave me a nostalgic flashback to my childhood. They’ve nailed that perfect blend of flavor, crunch, and satisfaction.
But what really stood out was the customer service. Yesterday I placed a last-minute catering order for my company’s lunch, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us without hesitation. Friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming it felt like they were just as excited to serve us as we were to eat.
The restaurant itself was spotless and inviting, and you could tell the team takes pride in both their food and the space. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or organizing a group order, this place delivers on every level. I’m going back TODAY!

My first visit with the new management at this location, J. Buffalo Wings, was great! The food was good, the youngman who introduced himself as the son of the restaurant was welcoming, took our order and even suggested items that complimented what we initially came in for. The cook did a fine flavor-filled job with preparation of everything we ordered. Yesterday’s visit, was the total opposite. It was like the cook was not the same, nor the quality and most importantly the quantities of vegetables and meat protions were much smaller. The “Vegetable” Lo Mein consisted of very little “vegetables”. Small amounts of broccoli, onions, and sliced carrots. Instead, the Lo Mein noodles, which were good, covered the majority of the dish. We found a similar type situation with the shrimp fried rice portion, which wasn’t as tasty as the Lo Mein. I’m providing feedback with hopes there will be a positive change because this restaurant was off to a great start with new management and I don’t mind paying for good food and service I receive, but I mind paying for small portions of mediocre food and service that I receive.

My husband Alex and I come to this location at least once a month. Every time we come we are met with consistently great food. The wings are hot and crispy and the variety of sauces are great to try. The veggie fried rice with yum yum sauce is always great and different from places that just serve fries. The veggies add a little crunch but aren’t raw and cooked to perfection. Honestly one of the best wing places that I would choose every day if I could. The owners and staff are super friendly and nice too. My husband got the lemon yaki that’s pictured and I always get hot lemon pepper; spicy and tangy, what could be better.

This location is so clean a nice. The restaurant in itself is very clean a little small than the other J buffaloes, but this one is top-tier. And the customer service is A1. I like my wings extra crispy and before they even put the sauce on, they came out and asked me was this crispy enough they made me feel like I was the only one in the store and they was only cooking for me. I felt as if I was at a five star dining, even though I live closer to the one in apps, I will never go back to that one again.

J wings’ sauce is easily top 5 wing sauces I’ve had. The amount of food you get for the money is excellent. And the service is great! Not a ton of room in the restaraunt, but it that’s hardly a deterent.
