The food is always good and the service great. A family diner with gormet options. You can get some great appetizers, a good variety of salads, burgers and homemade dinners. They also have a good selection of local beers. Fair pricing and large portions. They also have tvs so you can catch whatever game is in season. Checknout their deserts as well. Highly recommend checking them out. Good, safe, and clean parking lot. Recently remodeled.

I go here several times a week for lunch since I work right around the corner. Cathy and the rest of the staff are delightful and the food is always great. If you happen to save room for dessert, the bakery portion of the restaurant is to die for (especially the brownies!) Whether you’re stopping by for a treat or sitting down to dinner, I highly recommend Riley’s.

This place was like a family run ‘chain diner’. The question is, if you have a family restaurant why would you bother to have a ‘chain diner’?
Canned vegetables, steak sliced thin and only cooked medium or above, a prime rib which was then grilled making it tough and overcooked. And the sweet potato casserole was so over cooked it had the texture of apple sauce – including the pecans.
The decor with all the cool cookie jars was fun and managed not to be kitschy. As enjoyable as the decor was, but I’m not going to a restaurant for the decor, I’m going for the food.
And the food being as poor as it was, I won’t be going back.

They did not adequately prepare for Thanksgiving customers. When our party arrived they had ran out of several things and trucked in emergency substitutions of abysmal quality. This did not however knock down the price any. I hate to hand out a bad review and especially for a restaurant that stayed open on Thanksgiving but the meal was comparable to Swanson frozen entrees. At 21.00 a person. Plus tip of course.

I’ve had food from here a few times over the past few months and frankly well some of the food is tasty it is overpriced and it is not the Haute cuisine they would like you to believe. Last night had the chicken tenders baby Bakers and roasted brussel sprouts. Brussel sprouts were burnt chicken tenders were unseasoned and the bourbon BBQ sauce tasted like pancake syrup. And I’ve had better apple pie from Frisch’s

I did not think anything about it at time, but when I check with my bank they charged me twice, They owner is very difficult & won’t listen to reason. I have my bank statements clearly show they were paid twice & she just wants to fight about it. we are common people on a budget & can’t afford ripped off. what ever you do if you decide to eat here keep a eye on your card acct, because even with proof she is unreasonable. As we knew it, Riley’s. Now the family has passed to the Son the restaurant and he renamed it his name. Still wonderful food, desserts, and Marilyn to serve us. Recommend it.

Good food and good service, however this location is closing on January 1st 2017. There are other J Austin’s locations and the owners also run Walt’s BBQ.
It is a shame to see the place go.

A little pricey for what you get. Server was new but trying. Training probably isn’t the best. But everyone is always friendly and the food has never been bad, but never great either.
