We dined at J. Alexander’s to enjoy a holiday lunch. We made a reservation and were seated immediately. We were greeted by Amiyah our server who was very friendly and attentive. She provided honest feedback about several dishes on the menu. We decided on the Steak and Fries, Babyback ribs and Ahi Tuna salad. Everything was delicious and portions were large enough to take leftovers home. One of the highlights to our lunch was our server Amiyah. Her attentiveness, personality and engaging conversation is rare. We have dined at several restaurants nearby for lunch which have provided disappointing service. However, we all agreed we would return and request Amiyah as our server. Thank you Amiyah for making our holiday lunch even more special!

I love this restaurant! The food is consistently delicious, always fresh, flavorful and cooked to perfection. The staff is friendly and on point with their service. Be sure to make reservations because this place always bustling and packed to the seams. One of my favorite dishes is their unique take on their Mac and Cheese, just the right amount of cheese with a crispy golden top. Highly recommend.

I don’t usually like to order grilled chicken in restaurants because it doesn’t alway taste good. I can’t imagine trying anything else here, I enjoyed the grilled chicken. I have tried other dishes before but chicken was good. It was well-seasoned without being overpowering, tender and juicy.

Absolutely wonderful work dinner! Ashley, our server, was amazing! It was a pretty large group and we had the best time, and were accommodated completely. The shrimp app is beyond delicious. The spinach dip is probably the best I’ve ever had. The steak and fries, also wonderful! For desserts, we shared a bunch of different items. The carrot cake is out of this world! The pumpkin pie was so good too! Basically, everything was truly special and a large part of our experience was Ashley’s attention to our table.

Last night it just wasn’t great. Food was not consistent. We come here a lot. Twice a month. The food is normally very good. We ordered the artichoke app which was delicious. The Cypress salads were good but missing avocado again! This has to be the third time this has happened to us both in the last 3 months. We realized it half way through and then the bar service is rough on a busy night (forget take out they barely look at you while you are waiting!) so we could not get any one to help. Avocado is one of the highlights of that salad so i’m not sure what is going on in the kitchen for this is happen.

First time here & definitely not the last. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable & attentive. We started with the roasted artichokes & avocado bomb both equally delicious. Entrees were prepared to perfection. Probably the best ribs we’ve ever had. As crowded as it was during prime dinner time on a Friday, the noise level was still comfortable allowing for conversation without raised voices. We thoroughly enjoyed dinner & will most definitely return soon.

HIGH QUALITY EXPERIENCE. Service is impeccable! This restaurant should be in the Michelin guide! ⭐️My compliments to the Chef. Everything tastes amazing from starters to desserts. Everything comes fast to the table they accommodate large crowds very fast we had a party of 6. I Recommend Broccoli Cheddar soup mine was absolutely delicious, STEAKS COOKED TO PERFECTION, and key lime pie is absolutely AMAZING! What a delightful experience! MY SERVER WAS VERY GRACIOUS KIND AND ATTENTIVE. 5 out 5 stars I gladly recommend this restaurant. My suggestion to upscale the service would be someone meeting and greeting at the door getting the door for us as we enter and leave cause we are too full to even bother to open the door! lol that would be fabulous. I will gladly go back.

This is one of my favorite spots in the area for a burger or steak. It’s not as fancy as the other local steakhouses but the food is just as good. The service is also equivalent to a traditional steakhouse. I have yet to have a bad meal or experience. Highly recommend. It does get pretty busy at peak times so make a reservation just in case
