The Swiss and mushroom burger was delicious. Fries were nice and crispy. The California Burger was also delicious. Nice and juicy burger. Atmosphere was homey and welcoming. We would go back.

I’ve come to Izzy’s 3 times a week in the last 2 months and have ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger every single time…I asked kindly for the order to be remade. Not only that the staff member was picking his teeth with using his phone camera. I reported this the next day. They used American cheese and the employee did not wash his hands. Nothing has been done and this happened November 6th. Super disappointed in the management on not taking care of this situation. I told them to even watch the cameras. And was told “that’s Swiss cheese” it’s indeed American. Never coming here again..no refund..no remake..no apology..nothing. As someone in food management this is not at all how a situation should be handled. I even showed them a picture.

Got the juicy Lucy with waffle and sauce. I don’t think the burger could have fed an average sized kid. Service was not very good as they only came once to bring me the food and never anything else. Actually I had to go to the counter to pay my bill. Others were served before me after I got there including a big group that was here visiting a Martin company in town. Seems like they cater to the locals or somebody visiting the company. Also the interior was dark and dreary and had to use the flashlight on my phone just to read the menu.

The food is good, the beer is served ice cold, and the prices are very reasonable. The thing you REALLY gotta love about Izzy’s though, is the atmosphere. Hockey. Heaven. That’s really about the best thing ever. By far my favorite place to eat in Warroad during my stay. We liked it so much we went back a second time. We tried a variety of foods, and by far my two favorites were the walleye sandwich and the pizza. 100% of stopping in again next time I’m in Warroad!
