Fresh- delicious and quality fish. It was a really beautiful piece of red fish – perfectly crusted with macadamia nuts and prepared with a flavorful Thai style rice, salad and sauce. Portions were generous. The sushi was light and the ratio of fish to rice was perfect. I sat outside during rush hour snd Lindsey was amazing! Attentive- knowledgable and service was fast. Highly recommend!

When we walked in, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. We’d been looking forward to coming here for a while, so our expectations were high. Unfortunately… the experience didn’t quite match the vibe.

We ordered the mussels, the Firecracker roll, shrimp and pork dumplings, and two dozen oysters. The mussels tasted and smelled really off, so we sent them back. No drama just not something we could power through.

The Firecracker roll? The only thing that understood the assignment. Truly the star of the night.

Now… the oysters. There was dirt and sand in basically every bite. I did not order Oysters Rockefeller pun absolutely intended. On top of that, we kept spotting tiny pea crabs in the shells, which was more “National Geographic” than “date night.” Very off-putting.

After sending back the mussels, we didn’t feel comfortable flagging someone down again because the energy shifted a bit. Danielle may have been overwhelmed with multiple tables, but a little more warmth or attentiveness would’ve gone a long way.

I don’t know what I did in this lifetime to deserve sandy seafood trauma, but I truly wanted to love this place. The ambiance was lovely the food just didn’t follow through.

Great food and large portions. First time having a lobster roll and it was good! My wife had the captains platter and it was enough for both of us to share. Service was great despite it being pretty busy.

Visiting here from Canada – Hands down one of the best seafood / steakhouse I’ve been to in all USA & Canada,

Our server Ashley was absolutely excellent, and attentive, despite being a large party! They reserved their upper area for us,

The Quality of the food served was top notch! We will definitely be back every time we’re here in Cape Coral

Nestled in a picturesque location, Izzy’s Fish and Oyster House truly stands out with its beautiful ambiance, offering a perfect coastal charm that sets the stage for a delightful dining experience. The restaurant’s decor is tastefully done, creating an inviting atmosphere that complements the fresh seafood theme beautifully.

We decided to indulge in the Seafood Cabin Cruiser, which was nothing short of excellent. The dish featured a tantalizing selection of Blue Point Oysters, Brushetta Mussels, and Chipotle Ceviche, among other delights. Each item was fresh and expertly prepared, showcasing the kitchen’s attention to detail with special sauces that elevated every bite. The quality of the seafood was evident, making it a standout offering on the menu.

For a bit of variety, we also ordered the alligator bites. These were cooked to perfection, lightly breaded and full of flavor, providing a unique addition to our meal. To wash it down, we enjoyed their Nice Espresso Martinis, which were a delightful treat and a great way to round off our meal.

However, my visit was marred by service issues that detracted from the overall experience. The wait staff was noticeably slow, which was disappointing given the restaurant’s otherwise great potential. The situation escalated when our waiter accidentally dumped an entire tray of drinks on me, leaving me drenched. To make matters worse, management did not come over to address the situation, assist with cleaning up the broken glasses, or check if I was okay. There was no offer of a complimentary item or any form of apology, which felt rather neglectful.

While I thoroughly enjoyed the food at Izzy’s Fish and Oyster House, the lack of attention to service and customer care was disappointing. I hope they can improve in this area because it would make a truly beautiful and charming restaurant shine even brighter.

Happy September 1st and Labor Day. Hope everyone had a great long weekend.

My wife and I were hoping to find a dining experience beyond the usual chain restaurants, so we consulted Yelp for some local recommendations, and Izzy’s caught our interest.

We had an early dinner, so the restaurant was super quiet and not busy. We got a table right away.

Upon being greeted with a pleasant welcome by our server, Kaylie, I mentioned that it was our first visit. Would she be able to recommend any particularly delicious items from the menu. She responded with several recommendations and demonstrated considerable knowledge.

I ordered the Fried Fisherman’s Basket and my wife had the Salmon. Our meals were delicious.

The piece of fried fish was truly exceptional. The oysters and shrimp were quite enjoyable as well.
My wife thoroughly enjoyed her salmon.

The ambiance was not overly loud, although the restaurant was not particularly crowded. The tables in the dining area were arranged rather closely together. In fact, the proximity of the table next to ours allowed us to overhear a conversation between two ladies who were discussing real estate. We ended up learning a great deal about real estate and one of their date nights, which illustrates just how close we were to the adjacent table.

The only concern I had was that the coleslaw and one of the condiment holders in my Fisherman’s Basket were placed directly on the food.

I would like to commend Kaylie, our server, for her exceptional service and professionalism.

The food was truly excellent, deserving of a perfect five-star rating.

In conclusion, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the Military Discount.

The seafood here is ridiculously fresh and very good. We had a medium tower with an array of fresh raw and cooked seafood including oysters, tuna tartar, smoked fish dip, ceviche, and steamed shrimp. It was 3 tiers of goodness! The gator bites were very good, not greasy and the ghost pepper sauce had a great spice. All the dinner plates were fantastic from ahi tuna to the fresh grouper on special. Perfectly cooked, seasoned beautifully. The chef even visited our table to clarify a food allergy. Danielle was our server and she was attentive and managed all 7 of us with ease. The cocktails were thoughtfully prepared with our favorites being the pilot house and both the red and white sangria. Awesome meal, service and atmosphere, we’ll definitely be back!

Loud and pricey. Wife ordered condiments on the side, not. Server seemed upset when we asked to be seated away from a large group of yackers. Very loud.

Food was very good but thought the portions would be better for what you pay for… 4 thin asparagus was not it. A bit more risotto would’ve been nice. Fish was good but did think the cut would be a bit larger since the other portions were smaller. Burger was said to be really good. Lots of seating in the restaurant. Thought because it’s in tourist season and location it would’ve been open a bit later and not felt as rushed for dinner.
