they are always so generous with their portions, and never make me feel like an inconvenience for asking for extra pico 🙂 the bowls are very reasonably priced compared to other “mexican subway” chains, there are some options for up charges but those up charges are always made clear. I would highly suggest people try the mushrooms! I love the food and supporting a local chain (much better than chipotle)

This is the portion size I was given for a steak bowl, didn’t take a single bite yet but moved it to the side to show how little I was given. Also the guy behind the counter was odd and the ladies were in the back joking and not helping the people behind me in line.

I went into izzos because I love their queso and salsa and asked for an extra salsa as well. When I checked I was missing a salsa and maybe a quarter of a bag of chips I don’t want to be paying 20 dollars for the order to be messed up and to not even get what I actually ordered which was supposed to be 2 large salsas and a large queso and all they got right was my quesadilla food was DELICIOUS tho

I love Izzo’s and I don’t get why people would go to Chipotle when Izzo’s a choice!

Customer service is pretty good, the employees are always nice and makes it simple and easy to order food.

The amount of food is decent 🙂 and I’m always left feeling satisfied. I like that they will cut the burrito up and wrap both halves separately!

This location is usually pretty clean and I come often since it’s near campus. Sometimes the line seems long but the wait isn’t too bad as it goes by quickly.

Reliable food With generous servings. Their bowls are a good value for money. They have plenty of vegetarian items to choose from. They have a salsa bar with some pretty spicy options. The staff members are nice and helpful. Being close to the university it might get a bit busy during lunch hours.

First time coming to an Izzo’s as all other times I’ve had them was through catering. Really quick line with the staff being helpful in my indecisiveness. They had a lot of options that ranks them higher than Chipotle because the fact that I have an option to use a spinach wrap for my burrito is amazing. Also that I can have nachos without having to do a bowl and buy chips on the side is great.

The BEST Izzo’s location hands down. I travel amongst New Orleans to new Baton Rouge often and make this stop frequently. The evening staff, and management is top tier. They go above and beyond and the food always tastes fantastic. I recommend every time! (Shout out to the team on 8/19!!)

In my observations the food is often cold, and the burritos have very little flavor. In my opinion their meat and other burrito toppings have a flavorless and rubbery texture. Overall it was not a good dinning experience in my opinion and I could not recommend this restaurant to a friend as the food had a very bland taste. I was also very disappointed in the preparation of the food. The wrapping looks good,to but it seems to me that there is no substance to the flavor and preparation of the food beneath. They have color oordinated flavored tortillas, but these tasted very bland as well and only served to color the burritos. Perhaps training and actual cooking skills for their crew would be a good start because to say it seemed lackluster would be too generous in my opinion.

Turns out you can’t commit a crime while eating here! LIKE WHAT?!? Why call your restaurant “ILLEGAL BURRITO” if you have to follow the law while inside the establishment?!? I don’t understand and the stupid handcuffs hurt my wrists. From now on, if I want to break the law while eating Mexican food, I’m going to Taco Bell, because they don’t prosecute. Only eat here if you like good food and following the “Federal and State” rules or whatever.

I’ve given this location multiple chances and I am always disappointed. Today was the last chance. The food here is over priced and consistently of poor quality. Its obvious that they are making burritos with old food from the previous day that did not sell. Time and time again the food is lukewarm, rice is crunchy, meat is dry and flavorless, and vegetables are wilted and mushy. This time my queso wasn’t even hot enough to be completely melted. When your quality control is so bad that you cant even get chips and dip correct, that’s when I say enough. I will never eat at Izzo’s again.
