Love this place. I come here almost weekly. Leechee martini with smoked salmon Sushi( one of the best I’ve ever tasted), chicken hibachi( had my keftovers for lunch) with tempura icecream for dessert. Best combo. Thank me later.

Very nice atmosphere inside. Fast service. Its definitely a better quality Japanese restaurant the workers are predominantly Chinese but very accommodating. Be mindful its not the most affordable and they do try to have you think the soft drinks are refillable, they are not . So maybe skip the soft drinks and stick to water . Overall the sushi sashimi is great and presentation is always on point.

Was good when they first opened now gone downhill. Meals came with soup and salad now it’s Soup or Salad. Portions are smaller, prices have gone up. Lunch special menu is good Mon-Friday and now I get an excuse that because it’s a Holiday that they are not doing Lunch Specials. Gasho in Hauppauge is Better, Better Portions, Better Food and Chefs who actually are fun.

Okay, so I don’t usually don’t do Karen stuff like this, but this really rubbed me the wrong way considering people spend their hard earned money here and get scammed.. my king crab roll had NO crab, at all, entirely just avocado and cucumber. Maybe this was just an off day as most reviews are positive, just felt very disappointed.

This is a very nicely designed Hibachi restaurant sectioned the Hibachi grills and seating away from main restaurant and there is also a sushi bar and a liquor bar adorende with 3 large television screens for a sports bar feel. The food is fresh , very tasty and arrives pretty quickly. The one draw back that you may not like and isnt a real bad thing is the various staff members that attend to your order for drinks, then the food comes out by another person. The are visits than seem eager to grab your plate to clear the table giving you a sense that there is a rush for the table. We will be back since the food , atmosphere and prices are very good. The portions are on the smaller side but still worth it and you leave full and content.

Food and environment was amazing, but service was not it. I’ve been to different hibachi’s where the waitresses are constantly making sure the food is good, making sure you’re doing fine and if you need a refill, here on the other hand you’re lucky enough to even get someone’s attention to get anything else you need. If anything, this hispanic waitress was doing more and helping more than them, they were not doing anything. Also, if you don’t happen to leave tip, they will run after you.

I loved the hibachi here!! The entertainment and food was soo good. Not overly salty like some other hibachis I been too. Sushi tasted really fresh. I rate it a 4 star only because the rice was a little hard.

Just had an awesome experience at Izumi Restaurant! The food is great—everything we tried was delicious! It’s the perfect spot for celebrating birthdays or getting together with big groups.
They have a nice drink menu, but it feels more suited for a casual dinner vibe, which is perfect for hanging out with friends. Overall, Izumi is a fantastic choice for a fun night out. I’ll definitely be back to enjoy more of their menu!
