Sensational quality and outstanding views from the rooftop terrace.
Izumi, located on the top floor of the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues in Geneva, offers a wide variety of dishes, including numerous vegetarian options. The quality of the food is excellent and the service is first-class. However, the true highlight is the 360-degree view stretching across Geneva and all the way to Mont Blanc!

I went here for dinner with my partner and had a wonderful experience. We chose the tasting menu and loved everything from start to finish — from the inventive cocktails to the beautifully crafted dessert. The view was also stunning. Since we visited in winter, we were seated in a cozy, tent-like area on the terrace, which added a charming and intimate touch to the evening. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience.

However the food was mid overpriced but I guess because its the Four Seasons.
The Tuna aburi, usuzukuri seabream and pedron chillis were the highlight everything else was okay, nothing memorable, i didnt like the location of our table with our backs directly infront of the sushi bar. If you were to go wnd celebrating something make sure you ask for a good view table.

Good food & service, slightly more on the pricey side. Arrived for dinner (2nd service) and need to make 1 big order before kitchen close.
I like how the dishes were served beautifully designed on Japanese style plates and bowls.

The outdoor seating area is perfect for enjoying a fresh breeze while taking in the stunning cityscape.
‼️ However, the charm of the rooftop outdoor setting does come with a downside. After sunsets, the small flies attracted by the table lamp were a bit of a nuisance, occasionally landing in our glasses and food. While this might be an expected part of dining al fresco, it did detract from an otherwise enjoyable experience.

For the price it was a little disappointing. I used to live in Tokyo for reference, the miso soup was excellent but the rice was very dry and poor quality. The fish was fresh ( as one would expect). However if you charge 16.00 for a cappuccino, then please make sure the cup isn’t chipped, and a small chocolate or other sweet accompaniment would have been a nice touch. I was shocked that we spent 80.00 on iced tea ( 20.00 per glass). It tasted good to its credit. Service was average . The view was spectacular.

Disappointing cuisine. I went expecting Japanese cuisine, I learnt when I was there that it was fusion Peruvian/Japanese, but apart from the names/appearances of the dishes nothing tasted Japanese. We took a menu for 140chf, there was no harmony in the choice of dishes, no recommendations for the choice to make sense to the palette…really over-rated for the cuisine. The food was greasy, quite the opposite of Japanese food…
The positives, the restaurant is beautiful, the food looked beautiful, the mocktails were great.
For those who want a fine dining experience with tasty food this is not the place.
