I love this place was just there with my husband on date night omg the sushi boat was so good the service best we had in a very long time we want to go back and try everything on the menu the owner was so kind the waitress took great care of us treated us like family not customers. we can’t wait to go back prices where so good this is now our favorite place and very romantic everything was so fresh.

After looking for a new Japanese restaurant to try around the area, we stumbled upon Izu and it was a nice find. The service was sub par as our server was very meek and rushed, but the food tasted delicious! Their chicken katsu and their ginger pork were absolutely amazing and they gave huge portions. Their sushi was good (I forgot which one I ordered but it had crab and lobster tempura) but it had a little too much rice for my liking. The only thing that made this a 4 star visit was their plating which was mostly disposable forks and plates for the appetizers (such as the soup and salad). I would totally come here if I was looking for a filling meal.

Pretty good sushi! We got cucumber roll, sweet potato roll, and spicy crab roll. The sweet potato was tempura and was very tasty. The cucumber roll and spicy crab rolls were alright—good, but nothing special. The dishes were served on paper plates which was odd. The salad was served in a to-go box with the dressing on the side—also odd. I guess it is for pandemic reasons. The service was alright—nothing exceptional—and the place was very clean. It wasn’t too busy for a Friday night; all of the tables were taken but there wasn’t a wait (we went around 7pm). I’d recommend coming here if you’re in the area looking for some pretty good sushi!

Ordered the lobster dragon roll and was extremely disappointed. The tempura breading was gummy ant too thick. Pieces of lobster smaller than what I’ve had in other restaurants

Very fast takeout orders, all my orders were ready in 20 minutes.
They also took my call/takeout order 11am on a Thursday fyi.

Used to be our Go to spot for many years.
Went there on a Saturday evening with my wife , stood at the reception area for more than 10 minutes as staff and manager passed by no hello or any acknowledgment whatsoever!

The place is very comfortable each table setting feels very private. The dim lighting makes it very comfortable. The service is very delightful friendly as soon as you walk in . The dinosaur roll was amazing full of flavor so fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the rolls were huge and very filling, price was worth it I highly recommend!!!!
