The sashimi was incredibly fresh with that clean, sweet flavour you only get from high‑quality fish. The cooked dishes were equally impressive—well‑seasoned, balanced, and clearly prepared with care.
The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. It’s the kind of place where you can come for a casual dinner or bring friends for a special night out, and it still feels just right.

Absolutely a 5-star gem for authentic Japanese food in the area! The sashimi platter is unreal—super fresh, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the portions are so generous I was genuinely shocked (in the best way). Every slice is cut perfectly, no fishy taste at all, just pure, fresh seafood goodness that tastes like it’s straight from the ocean. The vibe is cozy and casual, service is warm and quick, and all the other small dishes we tried paired so well with the sashimi. This spot has become our new go-to for Japanese, and we’ll be bringing all our friends here—10/10 recommend, don’t miss out on their sashimi, it’s life-changing good!

A wonderful dining experience with a beautiful atmosphere and comfortable private rooms that made our visit feel very special. We ordered an individual set menu and a Wagyu set, and the food quality was excellent — everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. It was the perfect dinner the night before our wedding.
The service was attentive and welcoming throughout the meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends, and we would happily return again for another gathering.

The $88 set meal was a complete surprise!!!
The beef tataki was amazing from the first bite, the sauce was also delicious!
The fish was grilled to a perfect crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, with absolutely no fishy smell.
The stewed pork was so tender it practically fell apart with chopsticks, perfectly balanced between sweet and savory.
And the dessert at the end was also wonderful!!!

We were unable to secure an online reservation at year end, so we made a last minute booking by phone and decided to visit. We came specifically for yakiniku, but were seated at the bar without any explanation. After ordering starters and hot appetisers, we asked about ordering yakiniku, only to be told at that point that yakiniku cannot be served at the bar.
As an alternative, we ordered a tenderloin steak cooked medium rare. The food arrived after about forty five minutes, which we were willing to accept given the time of year. Unfortunately, the steak was cooked closer to medium well. As soon as it was served, I asked the server to confirm whether this was indeed medium rare. The server checked with the chef in the open kitchen and then returned the same steak to us without any change.
While the initial wait time was understandable, receiving the dish in that condition afterward was very disappointing. Considering the prices are not inexpensive, the lack of clear communication about seating restrictions and the poor understanding of the menu and cooking requests were frustrating.
Up until ordering the main dish, the experience had been very enjoyable, which made the ending even more disappointing. We chose not to raise the issue further as it was the year end and we did not want to create trouble, so we simply paid and left.

10/10!! This place is an absolute hidden gem located underground – I tried their free flow A5 Miyazaki Wagyu yakiniku and WOW, the meat literally melts in your mouth. It also included bottomless chicken karaage and 3 oysters per person, for $188pp this was great value and reminded me of Japan. They also have sake pairings and range of kimonos you’re able to wear during dinner for an authentic experience – definitely a must-try experience if you love high-quality A5 Wagyu ❤️
