This restaurant serves Very Very Good authentic Mexican food. So far, my sweetheart and I have ate there twice in one week. I asked for extra guacamole and sour cream to go with my burrito and they came in humongous sized bowls. The service is absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful. Inside the restaurant is well decorated and very authentic looking. Their prices are very reasonable. So if you like great authentic Mexican food I highly recommend this restaurant! I know that I’ll be going back soon!!!

I live kinda close by and stopped in for a late lunch. My needs were taken care of right away.
I say this is the place for Mexican food and atmosphere in Sultan. The Cook was happy to accommodate my request, so as a local I recommend Ixtapa Sultan is the place to visit.

Absolutely awful, just like the one in Monroe – it’s like they figured out a way to extract flavor from the dish. I’ve never had jalapenos so bland that I questioned whether or not they were trying to pass off okra as jalapeno. I found out nadapeño is a thing though, so maybe they’re using that. The meat was dry. Everything was devoid of flavor. The margarita was just syrup. The best thing we got was my Pacifico, because it came in a bottle. Furthermore, we only went because we were given a gift card, and apparently they don’t accept those. Which, honestly is fine, because I wouldn’t even come back for drinks. So we paid 68 bucks for flavorless textured nutritional products? I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone.

This little family owned and operated business has always been so good.
Our early dinner was ok, but it just didn’t seem to be as good as it used to be. Their margaritas are still the best!
It seems like to save money, sour cream & guacamole are extra for most items that used to come with it.
I get everything has gone up, and maybe a different approach to battling the overhead would be better?

i’ve come to this restaurant for years and honestly, I’ve never really liked it. after this incident, we’re definitely not coming back… and I definitely recommend reading the reviews before coming to this restaurant.
The waitress was really rude and acted like she didn’t want to be there and wasn’t good at her job. she never asked if we wanted anything else and never asked if we wanted refills or more chips. she was really not nice. Our food was really late, even though we were the only ones in the restaurant! The lettuce in my meal was wet and had ice chunks on it! It was disgusting. The beans and rice were cold and the soda tastes like water. The food here is way overpriced and isn’t even good. don’t come here. save your money and go to the one in Monroe

This is one of those places where you should read the reviews before you go to. We showed up in the middle of the day and we were the only ones in the restaurant. When we left we were still the only ones in the restaurant other than the employees. Our service was not good at all, our server didn’t seem like she wanted to be there and the order we placed wasn’t even correct. I was going to let them know the food was wrong but didn’t want to be that guy so just decided to eat it, I had already finished my plate before we were helped again and I could even say anything about it being wrong. Food is overpriced.

If you like paying $26 for three tiny tacos and a mediocre off-tasting margarita, go here.
I went in asking for just 2 tacos, a chicken and a carne asada. I was told they only sell in sets of threes and has to be the same meat. I went ahead and ordered and was told $32…I asked why so much and the waitress said because it comes with rice and beans. After ordering, she came back with the menu and said if I wanted just tacos, I need to say ala carte when I order. I have ate at a lot of different Mexican restaurants and everything I was told here has never been the case. She said they don’t do refunds but she’ll speak with the kitchen, and then proceeded to give me $6 back. The final $26 purchase was three sad looking tacos with the filling all thrown on the far right side of the box (no rice and beans). The attached picture is after I had fixed some of the meat back on the tacos. This establishment holds almost as little respect for Mexican food as they do for their customers. I will never go back. Save your money, go to any other Mexican place.

Worst place ever! 50 bucks for 2 plates an left rappers on my food! Smh cooks where mad bc they don’t know how to cook correctly an told them! they sat there an tried to intimate me while i paid smh 100% frozen food cooked to be warm cook got so mad he wanted to fight so unprofessional..also you can tell the difference between pork an chicken ♀️ when I confronted about the rapper being in my food she asked if i was okay like if this has happened before..
