Delicious, handmade Guatemalan baked goods and high-quality coffee beans! This family-owned business brings authentic Central American culture to our small town. The owner, Christian, and his family have created a modern, sophisticated space to sit down and enjoy Guatemalan beverages and bakery delights. They are a fantastic addition to the community and truly care about their craft.

Wonderful bakery, beautiful artwork and lovely staff who care about every detail of your experience!

Come try an authentic pastry or beautiful crafted drink, you’ll enjoy it!

*Bonus* For the first time in my life I asked for a cold hot chocolate. This was the first time these workers received such a request and without batting an eye, they delivered! Thank you for a beautiful experience. God bless your bakery and all that you do!

Ixchel Bakery is a true hidden gem, and once you walk inside you immediately understand why it has such a loyal following. Everything here looks—and tastes—like it was made with real love and skill. We stopped by after hearing great things, and now it’s officially one of our favorite bakeries in the entire area.

The first thing you notice is how beautiful all the pastries and cakes look behind the glass. You can tell the bakers take pride in every detail. The cakes are decorated perfectly, the breads look fresh out of the oven, and the pastries have that golden, flaky look that tells you they’re going to be amazing. We picked up a few different items to try, and honestly not one thing disappointed us.

Their cakes are light, creamy, and full of flavor—sweet but never too sweet. The pan dulce and pastries were soft and fresh, and honestly tasted better than anything you’d get at big-name bakeries. You can taste the difference when something is baked fresh that same day.

The staff was friendly and patient, answering questions and helping us pick out a few items to bring home. Prices are very fair, especially for the quality you get. This bakery deserves every bit of praise it receives. If you’re anywhere near the area, this is absolutely a 5-star stop.

I stopped by a little strip mall on Route 304 for thing and noticed a bakery right as soon as you turn into the parking lot . I walked in & loved the vibes – so cozy ! I knew this was a special experience. The friendly young man explained to me all their goodies. Just the right amount of sweet with their delicious coffee. Fresh and just plain good! I’ll be back!

A Hidden Gem of Authentic Guatemalan Flavor!
If you’re looking for a taste of Guatemala, this bakery is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you walk in, the warm aroma of freshly baked pan dulce, cheese bread, and coffee welcomes you like a hug from home.
The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to recommend something if you’re not sure where to start (hint: try the champurradas and the iced panelatte!). Whether you’re Guatemalan and missing a taste of home or just curious to try something new, this bakery delivers the real deal.

If you’re looking for something beyond the ordinary coffee shop or bakery, this Guatemalan gem is a must-visit. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, and the moment you walk in, you know you’re in for a special experience. The coffee is rich, smooth, and absolutely delicious—crafted with care and full of flavor. The baked delicacies are equally impressive: fresh, unique, and truly delectable, offering flavors you won’t find in your run-of-the-mill bakery.

Whether you’re a devoted coffee lover or simply someone with a sweet tooth and an appreciation for authentic, cultural flavors, this spot is a true treasure. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys discovering something unique and memorable.

Ixchel exceeded our expectations. Ixchel offers delicious Guatemalan and some traditional Mexican sweet breads. They are fresh and very tasty. We wish that we lived closer to be able to enjoy their baked goods more often. We also ordered the panelatte and the Guatemalan hot chocolate. Both were excellent! We hope to stop by next time we are in the area!

Excellent little hole in the wall. Ordered a cortado and took the first sip and automatically knew this was premium coffee, but if the coffee wasn’t good enough, the guy making the coffee looked like he took pride in what he was serving. He took his time to perfect my coffee. Great stuff and chill Guatemalan vibes full of culture.
