I have been here before with a great experience. The last time my husband and I were in wasn’t a good experience. I got sick afterwards and knew it was from the food. The portion size sucked! We paid too much for too little. It made everything else feel unsafe and made me not like sushi anymore. There was a weird conversation about them saying we paid in a ripped $20 bill last time but I only ever remember paying with a card??? My husband gave them an extra $20 on top of dinner and tip. Just felt like a rip off. And being sick made it worse!

Their food is delicious, especially the tuna poke appetizer. It’s very authentic flavor is top notch. In my opinion, it’s become a bit overpriced unfortunately. $19 for an appetizer of tuna poke on white rice is just a bit much. Atmosphere is “ok”.

I have been/ ordered out here many times and it is an amazing place!! The food is delicious, the service is great, and everyone always seems to be enjoying their time.
Tonight my family and I decided to stop by as it was the last night Iwayama would be open until January 2nd. It seems like everyone else had the same idea!! It was incredibly busy, as well as possibly a little unprepared/ understaffed for the rush, but the staff managed the crowd exceptionally well and it was an amazing time as always! Much love to y’all!!

Ordered the gyoza, garlic fried chicken, shitake mushroom nigiri, chirashi dinner, Jojo roll, big nasty roll. Gyoza was nothing special and pretty small so a skip. Garlic fried chicken was super tasty and a huge portion. The macaroni scoop is really bland so the chicken made up for it. Chirashi dinner, jojo Roll and big nasty roll were so fresh and loved all the flavors together. Would definitely recommend for a family outing night or a casual date night.

Got the Creamy Ahi Poke Bowl to-go, but also enjoyed some of the best Mackerel Nigiri I have ever had while I waited. Paired with my Kirin it was a perfect snack.

We ordered sushi as well as chicken katsu and garlic chicken for lunch. Everything was delicious. Large portions and fresh fish. Sushi rice was perfect and the egg rolls and miso soup were perfect. I had the beef udon as a meal and the umami of broth, chewy noodles, and tender beef hit the spot! We’ll definitely be back for more.

The food was great. The prices are average and they have a wonderful mix of Hawaiian and Asian dishes. The tempura shrip is American style not Japanese tempura shrimp. Still went well with the dish but not as good as it could be.

Always great food here! Love their Portuguese Sausage & Bean soup when it’s available when it’s cold out – yum! Tried a new roll this time, the Miso Salmon Crunch roll that was amazing! Always love our Fried Fish Tacos and Kalua Pork!
