This place is one of my favorite places; when I have guests out of state or country, I usually take them here. It’s hard to find a great dinner experience. The Brussels sprouts and Curry Mussels were excellent.

This is one of my FAVORITE places to go with friends and husband. First off it’s adults only, you need to be at least 21 to enter (hell yea), the food is phenomenal *chefs kiss* and the patio is awesome! Please get he Brussel sprouts the dish is crispy-creamy perfection. And the GNOCCHI omg I dream about it, the pork in it is soo tender and delicious. You need it. This place is a gem downtown for sure! I’ll probably be back next week to be honest…see you there!

After walking around downtown for a bit, we stumbled across this restaurant, and I’m very glad that we did. After looking at reviews, we took the suggestion and got the brussel sprouts appetizer dish. If you take one thing from this review, get the brussel sprout appetizer. We also got the charcuterie board and shared a burger. The burger was not large, but with the other dishes we got, there was plenty for 2 of us.

Celebrating our cousins birthday at Varley! We all grabbed a drink and we loved all the drinks! It tasted so gooood! The drinks we got were: pineapple daiquiri, whiskey sour & midnight margarita. Our server was above and beyond and tended to us! The vibes were great! There was a DJ in the bar (DJ Bo York), definitely a vibe! You get to chill or dance depending on your mood. Would definitely come again.

The drinks, Burnt Honey Old Fashioned and Secret Garden, in the picture appear larger (angles) then they were…. they were our only disappointment- they lacked the final touches/appropriate garnish to own their given names. The charcuterie was a wonderful combination of meat, cheeses and fresh strawberries/candied nuts etc. My husband had the seared salmon which was uniquely paired with chimichurri (delicious combination); I had the strawberry fields salad with chicken – the dressing is the bow that ties the flavors together. Our waitress was good but spread a bit thin.

The atmosphere is great and staff was friendly. While some of my companions liked the food they had, I didn’t like the brussel sprouts appetizer or steak frites. The drinks were liked by all.

My 5 stars is for the patio and atmosphere. This was such a nice patio to have a relaxed dinner outside in the summer. The food was OK and not terribly overpriced. Service was good. I had the chicken caprese sandwich and it was a chicken thigh rater than breast, which was disappointing. I didn’t care for the house dressing, but other things looked good. My partner enjoyed the shrimp and grits. I would try something else next time.
