I love Ivars, and is a special treat for me. Never had any complaints until now. I know their prices are very high. The fish was to hard and crunchy. It cost me for 2 meals 74$ that also included 6 extra pieces. I was so disappointed. Called manager, told her about it, and she ended up giving me 2 replaces meal. Thank you Ivars for taking care of your customers.

Its sad how far Ivar’s has falled down the ranks. It used to be an amazing place for fish. They were big pieces perfectly cooked. Last time I was there one piece was only as big as my thumb and they were calling that “a piece of fish” when it really just looked like a left over. The tartar sauce was the BEST ever. Seems like their recipe has changed. Overall, it was just disappointing.

Original recipe since 1938! Alaska true cod served with French fries.
Loved the fish, the fries had be cooked a little more until golden.
Also had the Clams & Chips. Amazing clam flavor and perfect texture. Highly recommend these.
The slaw was just so so.
I would go back for the fish and clams. We did get them to go. So I am sure they steam on the way home.
The staff was great and accommodating and patient for a first timer. Very clean establishment.

Ordered and eaten on-site. The 4 piece True Cod fish and chips was fresh, hot, and crispy. Service was friendly and quick. A cup of my favorite white chowder on the side!

We came in for lunch today and received the smallest pieces of fish I have ever gotten from an Ivars.
This isn’t the first time we have gotten small pieces before but they always supplemented it with more. Today the woman refused.
We will not be back to this location again. Our whole family enjoys Ivars food but the service here is unacceptable.
On our way out my husband asked to speak to the manager. The woman said she offered me more but fish but that’s not true she refused. So on top of crummy service, I was called a liar as well. I will be contacting corporate offices and we will never be back.

First visit to a Ivar’s, the service was great. The restaurant was clean and I was pleasantly surprised with the oysters. The food and service we received definitely excided what I was expecting.

The restaurant is super clean, the girls were friendly and as always, the food is great! Clam strips and chips is probably my fave thing to eat. There was a ton of clams, more than chips! The clams were nice and crispy. I like to dip my chips in BBQ sauce and Ivars’ has great BBQ sauce. For under $10, this gets a double thumbs up!
