I haven’t been to an Ivar’s in so long, but I’m glad I went here! The staff was friendly, food was delicious, and most importantly, it was so clean! The meal was very affordable too, which was nice because how costly going out to eat it nowadays. Will definitely be back!

Ordered over $100 worth of food yesterday, and while the lady at the front packed everything carefully, the interaction still felt unnecessarily uncomfortable.
Every time I asked a simple question or made a small request, it felt like I was being a bother. When I grabbed a few extra napkins, I was told, “There are napkins in the bag already.” When I asked for extra crackers, I got a similar vibe, and when I asked if our sauces were included, she didn’t even say yes – just gave a quick nod and look that felt a bit like, “of course they’re in there.” Once I got home, though, there were only two tartar sauces and two ketchup packets for our entire order.
I get wanting to manage supplies, but as a customer spending over $100, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask for a few extras without feeling judged. It’s unfortunate, because we really love the food here, but the interaction left me uncomfortable. I’ll probably stick to the Federal Way location moving forward – they’re always friendly, welcoming, and never make you feel like you’re asking for too much.

Its a very nice and yummy sea food restaurant. My kids love it. The price for 4 fish and chips plates plus 2 extra fries plate was for 41$ dollars (very convenient!). The employees were friendly and the services was fast (less than 15min) they have the curbside pickup service and deliver the orders to your car. I love it and recommend that you go there every know and then! Hope this was helpful!

Ivar’s is a solid fast-food spot that delivers on all fronts. The Kent location is clean, spacious, and inviting with plenty of parking. The food is consistently fresh and excellent quality. The staff is friendly, attentive, and a bit quirky. Honestly, I can’t understand why anyone would go anywhere else for fish and chips. This place has been a beloved staple in the area for years, and it’s easy to see why—it consistently delivers top-notch food at reasonable prices.

This was my favorite location yet. I don’t have an Ivars where i live so when i come to seattle area i definitely treat myself with their amazing food. My favorite is the clam chowder and i eat the fried clam strips with it. Amazing food, very kind workers. never disappointed

Got the 5 piece cod and a cup of salmon chowder. Great tasting food that amounts to 5 fish sticks and a bowl of soup. No salmon at all. The ONE piece of meat was a piece of bacon no bigger than half a thumbnail. Again, very tasty and hard to justify $6 for the chowder and $15 for the fish sticks.
