Ordered clams and chips and a seafood combo to go. When I got home and opened the order I was very disappointed! Seafood combo was great. Clams and chips were the worst I’ve ever had. The clams looked like they had been in the deep fryer two or three times. They were so had I couldn’t even bite into them. We eat at this location frequently. I’m thinking twice before going back!

Missing fries/chips in 2 dishes.
5 piece cod and 3 piece cajun are missing chips as per photos.
The dishes ordered had “__ N’ Chips” in the name, and missing the “chips” in both dishes.
I’ve never received fish without chips before from Ivar’s, so this was a shock.
We have ordered from this location before, and we had always had our food. This is the first we are missing parts of a dish.
They bundle and organized them all nicely for us and into 1 large bag.
Seems we will have to open all their bags now to double check their work…
We did fill the QR review slip that was included in the bag. 9/13/2025

A nice theme from the Ivar’s restaurant. Clam chowder was great and as I remember it. The shrimp cocktail has mini shrimp and the cocktail sauce is a bit thick for this dish. The fish and chips dish has small portions of cod that were really very tasty! Service was great and responsive. Would come here again!

I liked the atmosphere. Cute diner design with a lot of pride in their chowder and food.
I had one of their combos with clams n chips and chowder with a drink. It wasn’t too expensive. You can also get as much tartar sauce as you want for dipping.
The food here is battered and fried seafood. You get what you’re looking for.
I do wish some things were cleaner like the cups in the sauce station.

A slight wait as the cashier is also the server who brings your food to your table. Shout out to that fellow. Didn’t get his name. Was looking for fried fish ended up going with the salmon once eye got there. Excellent choice. Over wild rice served with cole slaw and a muffin that was like a treat in its own right. The cinnamon bun cheesecake was…. go find out for yourself. My Brother had the strawberry champagne cheesecake.

Food was fresh and good but wow the prices were high and the fish are so tiny. I asked for some normal size pieces after the disappointment I experienced last time and the cashier didn’t apologize or acknowledge the issue. He also didn’t seem to actually do anything about my request because he never said a word to the cook. Pieces were better but still small.

This one of my favorite places when in Seattle. I am a business traveler. The clam chowder was excellent. The fried clams are fantastic. The food was very fresh and had a great taste. Now have had the fish several times. Recently tried the sour dough bread bowl with the white clam chowder, this was good, could have been a little thicker or creamier. This place has never disappointed me. Great service. Great food. Great price.

There was a B1G1 fish n chips deal on Fridays this month, so we stopped by and got the 3 piece cod fish and chips. We also tried the bavarian cream churros. It was packed on Friday night, about 80% full. This is my third time at this location, and I’ve never seen it being this full before.
We paid $20.61 (after tips) for the meal, and they currently have a buy $25 dollar gift card and get $5 gift card free promotion going on. I think it’s a good time to use the promotion and try it out for anyone who’s interested.
I do think the fried fish was on the smaller side today, and it’s a bit dry. The fries were fine, as a safe dish should be. Churro was a bit too sweet for me, and you could barely taste the cream.
It’s still a good deal, but I doubt I will stop by often unless there is another deal going on or if I want chowder.
