Had a lovely meal here last night. My husband had Thai red curry with beef and I had massaman with tofu and veg.
Both were with sticky rice. They were both delicious. We treated ourselves to a bottle of Chardonnay which was one of the nicest and we also had pancakes with a choice of additions fruit. Also very tasty I’ve never had pancakes served so nicely.
We pushed the boat out for a midweek meal but it was worth it.
Can’t wait to go back to try other dishes. The staff were so friendly and helpful.
Thanks so much

The soup and prawn crackers were lovely. But the chicken and prawn sweet chilli with rice was so disappointing. Basically it was fried, frozen chicken fillet (you get from supermarket for burgers) with sweet chilli sauce on top. Didn’t taste nice, was v ordinary.

Friendly and personal service, great atmosphere and very delicious food! We had a few starters which were banging and should have really just split one main after, as portions are good size

A great little restaurant. We visited twice within 3 days, this place is AMAZING. Every dish was tasty and the hospitality was on point. They were very accommodating in making a slight change to my spicy fatty duck. I highly recommend eating here. Itsy pleaseeeeeee consider expanding to London. I would love to be a regular customer.

Ordered from here via Deliveroo and received a dish made with rancid steak as well as being cooked very raw, could smell it a mile off, the portion of sticky rice was beyond pathetic just a solid lump. the chips were soggy, and I mean soggy, there were unlisted ingredients contained within the drunken chicken noodles. I seriously won’t be surprised if we are ill following this meal. Historic reviews detail off steak, chicken and vegetables all being served

We all had a really lovely experience here! Its intimate in size but makes up for it with cozy design and atmosphere, and the staff are so attentive and friendly. I had the spicy fatty duck which all agreed was the best of the dishes on our table, but all dishes were delicious. Of course I also had to have the Thai milk tea which also was a crowd favourite!

I can see why this place is so highly rated, loved everything I ordered!

Currently visiting from London and decided to try this spot out. I ordered sweetcorn fritters and drunken noodles (with duck) and my friend ordered satay chicken skewers with the Tom yum noodle soup. We enjoyed all of the food, very flavourful and generous with portions size as well as the ingredients in the dishes.

The fritters were lovely and crispy, paired with a sweet chilli sauce. The drunken noodles was sauced up with a healthy dose of dried and fresh chillies and large cuts of duck – so delicious! Highly recommend this place!

I came to Preston because I had wanted to try a tapas restaurant on Friargate but I couldn’t locate it. So I ditched my plans and went with my second choice, Itsy’s. Luckily this place wasn’t so hard to find with the light ribbon making the front stand out.

The interior is rather dark and moody in contrast to how bright it was outside at the time of my visit, but it’s pleasant and I like the murals dotted across the walls and the fauna above.

For starters I had Veggie Summer Rolls, which I have to say really surprised me. My body will sure appreciate the intake of more greens and it made for a relaxing salad-like starter with a sweet chilli to remind me that chillis, and spice in general, are almost inseparable from Thai cuisine.

But the real star was the Red Thai Curry. I got it with crispy chicken and jasmine rice, and boy was it a treat. Chicken was moist and delicious, with a rich coconut milk to dampen the intensity of the curry. A dish sure to warm the cockles of one’s heart, and has to be one of the best curries I have had in many years. Such a shame I couldn’t eat it all, but if you have an appetite, you will not be disappointed, I can assure you of that.

Overall, a very lovely and small place, with about 15 tables. I didn’t think to count them, but I have a rough memory. Definitely a place to return to though, and I’ll be adding to my books.

Ordered here tonight- the food was awful. The curry was swimming in grease and unbelievably spicy- it was completely inedible. The beef was rock hard and impossible to chew. The crackers tasted fishy and off. The rice was burnt on top. It was so expensive and completely disgusting!!
