The menu has a great range of options, which is a big plus. Some prices felt a bit steep, but that’s fairly standard these days. That said, the extra $7.50 difference between the chicken and prawn Tom Yum soup felt a little hard to justify, and the $40 steamed/grilled fish was on the pricey side.
Food-wise, the Tom Yum soup was average and the chicken was overcooked and had lost its texture. The egg noodles with BBQ beef were okay, though a bit too sweet for my liking. The broth served alongside was a nice touch to balance things out, but it was quite salty, and we did feel noticeably thirsty after the meal.
Portion sizes are very generous — we definitely overordered. This feels like a place that’s especially popular for groups, where sharing 4 dishes between 6 people would be more than enough.
Overall, a mixed experience with some strong points, particularly for group dining.

It’s definitely “Time for Lunch” at this fantastic Thai restaurant! This spot completely won me over.
First, the venue is ideal. I grabbed a table by the window and loved being able to watch the street life while enjoying my meal—it added such a pleasant, relaxing vibe to the whole experience. Inside, the environment is clean, bright, and genuinely inviting.
Now, the food… absolutely delicious! I ordered the vegetarian fried rice, and it was incredibly flavorful and fresh, packed with vibrant vegetables. The hot tasty curry puff was the perfect start—crispy, flaky, and filled with a savory, aromatic curry that was so satisfying. To drink, the icy coconut crush was a revelation! Sweet, refreshing, and the perfect cool complement to the meal.
Great food, a clean and amazing atmosphere, and that lovely street view make this a top choice for lunch. I’ll be back very soon
We started with the Tom Kha, a light coconut milk soup infused with galangal, lemon juice, chili, and mushrooms. The soup was fragrant, delicate yet layered with depth, warming us up and setting the tone for the rest of the meal. The Pad Thai with Tamarind Sauce was next—a perfect harmony of stir-fried thin rice noodles with egg, tofu, garlic leaf, capsicum, and crushed nuts. It was tangy, nutty, and beautifully balanced in flavors.
The Paradise Prawns were succulent prawns marinated with soy sauce and pepper, deep-fried to golden perfection, and paired with a sweet chili sauce that was both sweet and mildly spicy. The Sizzling Plate with Prawns brought a punch of heat and aroma, served on a hot plate with authentic Thai chili paste that made every bite exciting.
The Tom Yum Fried Rice was a highlight—a flavorful rice dish infused with Tom Yum spices and fresh herbs, perfectly complementing the other dishes. The Crispy Chicken with Kra Pao Sauce was absolutely unforgettable; the chicken was light, crispy, and coated in a fragrant, spicy Pad Kra Pao sauce that had just the right kick.
To finish, the drinks were equally delightful. The Lychee Rosé Soda was fruity, floral, and refreshing, while the Ice Pineapple & Mint Soda was a mojito-style refresher that balanced the meal with a cool, sweet twist.
Overall, Thai Kingsford delivered a masterclass in Thai cuisine. From the appetizers to the mains and refreshing drinks, every bite was a celebration of flavor, freshness, and authenticity. Highly recommend for anyone craving bold, authentic Thai flavors in Kingsford.
When my friend came back today and tried to order, she politely raised her hand and said “hello,” but the waitress said that was rude and that we should just raise our hands. However, this restaurant isn’t quiet or fancy at all, and there aren’t enough staff to notice when someone raises their hand. Yesterday we waved and called several times but no one came, and in the end we had to go to the counter to get help ourselves.
It’s fine to have rules, but treating customers with such attitude is unacceptable. We left feeling very uncomfortable and unwelcome. Definitely not coming back.
I also ordered their mango sticky rice, and it was absolutely delicious. The coconut cream was rich and thick, complementing the dish perfectly. They use high-quality mangoes that are sweet and fresh. This has definitely become a menu item I always reorder whenever I visit ❤️
