It’s Fate Creamery is a veteran and family owned ice cream shop located in Fate, Texas. They specialize in premium ice cream that is homemade and crafted on site. The Creamery was voted Best Ice Cream in Rockwall County for 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. The owners, Victoria and Rob, met in the Air Force in 1998. They spent the next 20 years traveling the world before settling down in Fate in 2017 and opening up shop in 2020. It’s Fate Creamery uses simple quality ingredients to produce some of the best ice cream you have ever tasted. The shop also offers edible cookie dough and dairy free Italian ice. Stop by and see us for a shake, sundae, cone, or just a scoop of ice cream, we promise you won’t be disappointed.

There’s a reason It’s Fate Creamery has 5 stars. From their amazing staff to their delicious ice cream, Fate couldn’t have gotten luckier to have such an amazing small business in our community.
At first, I was devastated at their lack of mint chocolate chip, but I quickly forgot about my longtime favorite.
My youngest daughter didn’t want a scoop of ice cream, she wanted a scoop of their homemade cookie dough. I don’t think that that’s a real offering, as they typically sell it by the pint, but they happily obliged and she was in absolute heaven. I will be back for a pint since their cookie dough is ACTUALLY edible!
My oldest daughter got their spookies and cream in a waffle cone, and was very happy.
My husband and I split a hot fudge sundae with their cookie butter and banana pudding ice cream with a warm brownie on top and .
Cookie butter is melt in your mouth. Yes, all ice cream is. But this is different. It’s good – in fact, great.
But. The banana pudding is obscenely delicious.
I always enjoyed my Mema’s banana pudding, but this… made me love banana pudding and crave it. Long after the sundae was gone. It made me rethink my entire dessert menu for Thanksgiving and plan on how I would incorporate this amazing treat.
They also have freeze dried candy!

So far, we have been here two times and both times we were thoroughly impressed. So far, our favorites are Cookie Butter Ice Cream, Banana Pudding Ice Cream, and coffee ice cream. We have not tried any of the ices yet, but we will soon! Also, wanted chocolate chip cookie dough, but they were out so I got the Fluffernutter and was very happy. Give them a try! Order online to avoid waiting in line!
