As soon as you walk in, you’re immediately greeted with not only a stunning ambiance and aesthetic of the entire space, but also an incredible staff.

This was our first time coming but it will definitely not be the last! Our server Emilio did a great job guiding us through the menu and the wine recommendation was AMAZING! My spouse and I were interested in their very extensive Greek wine list, specifically what wines were from Crete and Emilio instantly introduced us to their Somali Jeffery. Jeffery was a extremely knowledgeable and really hit it the spot of with the type of Cretean white wines we were curious about and the bottles are all extremely reasonable for some of the best wine we’ve had in a long time!

Each course that came out, we could’ve definitely licked the plate… I know I was thinking about it! Overall the service made us feel so special and taken care of. Reminded us of that Greek hospitality we’ve been missing! The only and I mean ONLY thing we were missing was some bread! It’s not a proper meal without some bread! But other than that this was such a great experience! Thank you to everyone who was a part of it!

A great new addition to our well-established Greektown. This restaurant delivers an elevated dining experience with flavorful, beautifully presented dishes. The cocktail menu is creatively crafted, and the wine list is curated by a Level 3 sommelier.
Our server was incredibly friendly and took the time to make sure our dinner went smoothly without a single hiccup. The wood-oven octopus was the best I’ve had in the city, and the wagyu souvlaki (a special) was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor.

The owner opened this spot in Greektown after so many of the OGs Greek places have closed and he did not disappoint.

There are so many employees here so the service was attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere was energetic yet I didn’t struggle to talk to my table.

The food was better than expected with a few that stood out. Saganaki, mussels, octopus, and lamb chops. There’s a great selection of wine with a sommelier onsite.

They have complimentary valet.

We’ll definitely be back!

The atmosphere was amazing and food was delicious. Our favorite was the smoked lamb ribs- super tender and flavorful. We also enjoyed the youvertsi, wood oven octopus, village salad, all the different spreads and of course desserts! You also must order a fish- I believe we had the lavraki but I don’t think you can go wrong with any fish because they’re all shipped in daily so it tastes very fresh.

I was so excited when I read that Greektown had a new Greek seafood restaurant. I was a loyal patron of Santorini, and it broke my heart when it closed during the pandemic.

Well, Ithaki Estiatorio did not disappoint! I love that the restaurant offers complimentary parking. But what’s really impressive is the open dining concept. The interior is light and airy (very much a California seaside vibe). The breeze travels through the large floor to ceiling windows while a smooth jazzy saxophonist romances the atmosphere. The bar is in the center of the dining space and it’s enchanting!
The manager/sommelier, Jeremy, made sure our drinks were flowing and our waitress, Stephanie, was lovely and so attentive, truly outstanding.
The food was cooked perfectly. We had the grilled octopus, Mussels and the Greek and small village salads.

We will definitely will be back!

Been a long time Greektown go-er , and this was a beautiful revitalization of the cuisine in the area. Don’t be fooled; from the outside, it looks somewhat small, yet once you step inside, it’s much deeper and more expansive than one would imagine. The ambience is wonderful inside, and gives you a mixture of the Greek beach club as well as an upscale taverna. We had everything from the mezze spread platter, to the saganaki to the youvetsi. Highly recommend the Pastichio; that hands down was the best item on their menu from what we had tried. Having talent such as Billy Alexopoulos in the kitchen, no wonder the quality is there. Make sure to stop in on your next Greek/Mediterranean escapade. Cheers.

There are a number of older Greek restaurants in Chicago’s Greektown that, while worthy spots, have grown a bit stale. This why so I’m so excited that Ithaki Estiatorio opened. I visited it a few days ago and it was like a breath of fresh air. Not only is it going dishes in a high end way that other Greek restaurants in Greet Town aren’t doing, it’s bringing a modern and upscale ecstatic to the area.

First, the food is amazing. I ordered the smoked lamb ribs, lamb chops, Greek fires, wood fired octopus and lemon possets for dessert. I heard they even fly in their seafood from Greece. All of the dishes are great, but my favorite of the night was the lamb chops. They were cooked perfectly and were very juicy and tender. I also enjoyed the Greek fires as the feta was delicious and the fires were perfectly cooked. Nothing I ordered that isn’t worth getting again.

Second, the restaurant itself is gorgeous and modern. It was dispensed with the hokey and corny decor of most Greet restaurants and replaced it with a slick modern feel with pops of color.

Third, the service was excellent. The waitstaff at this restaurant is on par with any upscale spot in Chicago. My waitress was polite, attentive and brought out my food quickly.

This is a must visit new restaurant.

Maria is an exceptional waitress, shes very warm, has great recommendations and pays attention. This time however the pastitsio was disappointing, the pastitsio my first time here (September) was incredible and I came back for it but the recipe has changed.. it tasted more dry and a lot more bland whereas a month ago it literally tasted authentic. (Speaking as a Greek who grew up in Athens). The youvertsi on the other hand was amazing, the lamb was cooked perfectly. The spanakopita was great, you can tell they’re making their own filo and using fresh spinach (nothing frozen and store bought).

Just WOW! This was a culinary experience with outstanding service and delicious food. We did a tasting menu and experienced small plates of the entire menu with a group of friends and each dish was spectacular. My first time here and I’d come again. No reservation was needed but I went around 4p.m. CST on a Friday. However, I would recommend a reservation. Maria was our server and she was knowledgeable about the menu. You have to order all at once, meaning appetizers and main dish. I ordered the grilled octopus which was amazing. I also ordered lamb chops, I gave them a 3 out of 5, I ordered them medium rare, although cooked to the proper temperature I felt they were missing a char on the outside. I ordered a 2021 bottle of wine and it was really good, I’ve attached the photo. If you are unfamiliar with a wine choice, they will help you select. I will try a seafood entree on my next visit, from the atmosphere I should of went with one instead of the lamb chops. There were 3 of us and the bill was about 100.00 each with dessert.
